Description
Oh Sehun is an Old Soul.
Some people are old at eighteen, and some are young at ninety. Time is a concept that humans created.
There is a special kind of person who finds himself alone and isolated, almost since birth. His solitary existence isn't from a preference or an antisocial temperament-he is simply old. Old in heart, old in mind and old in soul, this person is an old soul who finds his outlook on life vastly different and more matured than those around him. As a result, the old soul lives his life internally, walking his own solitary path while the rest around him flock to follow another.
Foreword
i wanted to highlight in this story the fact that people are always cruel to those who are different. but i wanted to show that being different doesn't mean that it's an acceptable reason for others to discriminate against them.
hence, this story was born. i wanted to show that being different in a new light. so i put in the concept that some people are different because they are actually old souls, souls that have experienced more lifetimes than normal souls.
Sehun here is on the cusp of being a fully fledged old soul, i call him a newly born old soul. you know there are people out there who are contended with being different? they accept themselves for being who they are, here i imagine them to be old souls. but there are also others who struggle with their daily life knowing that they are different, and they don't understand why, here i imagine them to be new old souls.
for these new old souls, their next lifetime is like a trial, testing them to see if they qualify to be an old soul. how do they pass, you ask, well, they need to get through this lifetime knowing they are different and learn to accept their uniqueness in their way of thinking and also mannerisms.
if they pass this test, they will officially be an old soul.
