This story is about a girl, a girl who goes by the name Tomoko Woods, or Tomo as her friends seems the call her most of the time. She is a sixteen, almost seventeen year old girl. She lives with her mom, Shara Woods (34 years old) in a little appartment in the beautiful city of New York. Tomoko is an Only child, which isn't that weird if you look at the facts: she doesn't know her father, her mother isn't gonna settle with a man for the next few years and all she has are one night stands. Tomoko acts like a grown up, even though she is still a teen. She never really acted like one. It would be her dream to travle to Korea one day, just because she knows that she is part Korean. Tomoko has blue, catlike,  eyes, raven black hair and frackles all over her, olive toned, face. She isn't tall like her mom or any of her friends. Shara works full time as an assistant in a busy café. She isn't home often in the evening, so mother and daughter don't see eachother often. Yet thet have a really good realtionship with eachoter, she is the only one that was always there for her, through thick and thin. Outside her mother she also has a small, but close, friendgroup. They have known each other since little and ever since they just can't be appart for too long. Jodie was her best friend, the guy was always there and has such great taste in music and fashion that Tomo goes to him for advise all the time. Some people think that he looks 'scary' because he loves to wear black and black only, but honestly he is the best friend someone can ask for. Jackson and Nate aren't really different, and yet they are. Nate is a nerdy person, he loves everything around books, tv series and movies. He likes to quote all of them and overall he is just always busy with reading and doing things on Tumblr. He is the oldest of the group and he takes that task seriously, but at times he can act like a five year old. Jackson is the youngest of the group. he was a perfect combination of sassy diva like and awesome. Tomo could be nothing but proud of her best friends, they have been through a lot of things and they love each other a lot. Tomo was not very popular with the girls at her school, or even outside her school, So she didn't have a true girl friend. But luckly for her, she could talk with Jackson and Jodie about boys for how long she would fancy. Jackson is BI and is slightly more on the 'I fancy boys side', Jodie was gay so for advise about she would always turn to him as he had a good taste in boys. Ever since she was 10, she has been looking for her father. She starts to give up hope more and more until she went to that one concert... and let me tell you, went down after that one concert.
