Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible -- it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could,

Foreword

I want and want you – and one more thing
I hurt and hurt but still, just once
Even if it wears out and wears out
Even if the tears don’t dry
If only we can go back to the beginning

If I could turn back time, would I be able to be together with you just like in fairytales?

"Damn it," Kyungsoo mutters as he rushes to the bus stop. He lifted his backpack above him to keep him dry and free from the unbelivable amount of rain pouring down. At the beautiful city of Seoul, it usually doesn't rain as much as now. Drips after drips, the rain became heavier and heavier. Maybe he couldn't come home in time for dinner. Running farther away from the library, Kyungsoo settled upon a big tree that could protect him from the rain. His best luck is to wait until the rain would stop.

He stared at the rain. Drip, drip, the rain would scream out. The wind whispered in his ear with water tickiling inside it. Great, now wind is starting to take over the rain. He prayed that the wind would stop and keep him dry. Sadly, the wind kept on getting stronger, making Kyungsoo having to alter places.

Kyungsoo held his backpack closer to his head as he sprinted his way to the nearest bus stop. Just a few more meters away, he might be able to get home just in time for dinner. He ran with all of his might to the shady bus stop. He could hear the streaming water wooshing down and slapping hello to the ground. He wished he'd brought a umbrella.

Once Kyungsoo arrived to the bus stop, he immediatly sat down on the bench under the shady roof. The roof was big enough to protect his head from getting wet, thankfully. Killing time, he took out his book from his backpack and started to run his eyes through the pages. Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. It was sad to think that this author had died just recently. He was one of Kyungsoo's favorite authors.

Kyungsoo was into the old fashion language and how it's written. He was very interested into Shakespeare and Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice was one of his favorites. It gave a deep impression on love and how different and diverse life could be. He wasn't so much into Divergent  or Hunger Games that much. He treasured the past very much.

His mother and father loved those type of books. They loved it so much that it ended up rubbing it up onto their son. That's what Kyungsoo believes at least, but he's not complaining.

In fact, he loved them so much that he outlawed his parents about reading the old fashion books. That was how interested he was in abot history and language arts.

Just a few pages into the third chapter, a petite figure appears next to him and seats herself down. Through his peripheral vision, he saw that she was waiting for the bus stop. She stared out to the the wet streets, sighing. She then ped her white handbag and fished in for a red coloured book. She opened the book gently and turned to the page she was on.

Kyungsoo swore that his eyes were going to fall out when she fluttered her eyes so elegantly and tucked strands of hair behind her ear. He scanned the book cover. Kyungsoo smiled.

Kurt Vonnegut.

From that day on, Kyungsoo was determined to meet her again. Perhaps she was into books as much as he was. Better yet, the past

(A/N:)

I'm back with a short story! It's a Kyungsoo biased story! Lately I have been obsessing over old fashion books and the style of their writing. Just like Kyungsoo, I am a big fan of Shakespeare and Mark Twain. People call me boring all the time at school and old but I think their writings are very riveting, engrossing, and enjoyable. It really gives a whole taste about true formal writing. They are very inspiring to me. Old stories like Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibility  are books I really enjoy. Sometimes I could go for Les Miserables. I feel really old to know all of these books since people at my school wouldn't know these books. Anyways, the photos are NOT mine. Also, please do not plagiarize. All plots were made by me. If there are any stories out there that are similar to mine, it is just pure coincidence. Enjoy!^^^

"Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind,"
