Clear as Coffee

Description

So young…

Vivid memories raced within my mind, somewhat fuzzy, but still there.

There he was, flowers in his hand, the grandest grin on his face, and most importantly…

He was young.

But where was I?

"My grandmother lost a good part of her memory a few years ago," I explained to the young girl sitting in front of me as I wiped down the counter. "It was a car accident... My grandfather died.. It's as if once he left, her memories left with him..."

Foreword

Hanbyul had been told ever since he was young that he was the spitting image of his grandfather. Due to a terrible accident that happened a few years ago, his grandfather is now gone, his grandmother's memories leaving with him. Now Hanbyul has taken over his grandparents' café and does his best to help jog his grandmother's memories.

Suzy is a writer whose writer's block has gone for months without end. Without a story soon, her publishing company is sure to fire her. After stumbling upon a quaint café in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, she can't help but fall in love with it. Then she meets Hanbyul who tells her of the love that first started the café and she believes she's found her story.

When Hanbyul's grandmother sees them together, she can't help but see images of a distant, faded past she once saw clearly.
