"Hello, good luck today" Hanbin greeted AKMU's Chanhyuk and Suhyun as they walked passed by him backstage. Hanbin spots Hayi just a few feet away from them and readies himself to greet her.

"Hello, good luck today..." He says but his bright face quickly dimmed when Hayi visibly avoided him by turning her head away from his direction as soon as he saw him "...Hayi-ssi"

"What's wrong with her?" he grumbles to himself the second she was away "Do I look bad today?"

It's the day of the open mic rehearsals for the YG Family Concert and everyone was gathered backstage, having fun and hanging out. Hanbin had hoped he could get some time to talk with Lee Hi personally to talk about their misunderstanding.

He had hoped that a real face-to-face talk could clear things better rather that message her over the phone about it. What he didn't anticipate though was how hard it would be to get Hayi alone with all the people who'd be there. However, he still tried.

All throughout the day, he tried to "bump" into her but Hayi remained aloof and would only smile at him faintly. Even during the finale stage where everyone was onstage, Hanbin tried to stick close to her but she'd always manage to distance herself from him.

Growing frustrated and a bit desperate, Hanbin thought of a plan. After the sound-check for the finale, all the younger artists had gathered right outside of their rooms and were having a blast backstage. Kids from WINNER, iKON, AKMU and Hayi were all playing around but Hanbin noticed that whenever he and Hayi would meet eyes, even when they were laughing, she'd quickly turn away or talk to Seohyun who was always beside her.

"Ya, Donghyuk-ah." Hanbin tugs on Donghyuk's shirt from behind "Kim Donghyuk"

"Why, Hyung?" Donghyuk asks turning to see Hanbin motioning at him to step away from the crowd, which he did "What is it, Hyung?"

"Donghyuk-ah, don't you think we should have a short meeting among ourselves right now?"

"What are you talking about, Hyung?"
"I think we should have an emergency meeting right now as a group"

"What for? Is something wrong?" Donghyuk sounded perplexed by Hanbin's urgency "Uhh... Do I have to call the other guys now?"

"No, no, no..." Hanbin says shaking his head "Not iKon, not Team B! I mean our group for Mix & Match"

"What for?... Hyung, Hongseok-hyung isn't even here"

"Umm... I have a new idea for our stage" Hanbin quips, hoping that Donghyuk will bite "I really think we should discuss it right now before I forget it"

Without even second-guessing him, at least not verbally, Donghyuk obeys Hanbin and heads towards Hayi to call her to their waiting room where Hanbin had already gone to.

"Noona..." Donghyuk says as he discreetly went next to her in the middle of Mino and Bobby's hilarious "rap battle"

"Noona~" Donghyuk tries a bit louder this time "Hayi-noona"

"Yeah?" She finally notices him "Why?"

"Noona, Hanbin-hyung says we have to have an emergency meeting right now for that performance for Mix & Match..."

Hayi questions him about it but poor Donghyuk couldn't answer when Hayi had asked for the purpose of it, even he was confused about it. And so, although confused herself, Hayi had gone and followed Donghyuk to their room.

"Lee Hayi!" Hanbin exclaims a bit too eagerly

"What the-" Donghyuk murmurs to himself, clearing the path for Hayi and pulling a chair along for her as well

"Uh... Hayi-ssi, Donghyukie have a seat" Hanbin says as he motioned them to take a sit. After everyone was already seated, Hanbin immediately began to grow nervous and there was a long pause between the three of them which only got cut after Donghyuk says, "Hyung, aren't you going to tell us about your new idea for the stage?"

"Oh, that's right. About that, Donghyukie... Listen to these first for me" Hanbin turns and hands Donghyuk his phone which had a track playing on full volume

"Hyung! Isn't this too loud?" Donghyuk cried out as soon as he tried to place the earphones in "Hyung, do you want me to go deaf?"

"You can lower-" Hayi tried to say but Hanbin quickly retorted and barked at DOnghyuk saying, "Ya, Kim Donghyuk! I'm having you listen to this first, this can be one of iKON's songs for the final match... You have to listen to it at that level to get the feel of it!"
