Chapter Ten: Uh-oh 

 

 

    After all the ruckus the gang did while savoring the sumptuous meal being laid at the dining table. Not even a single grain was left. The good-for-nothing boys as the dragon claims immediately left spouting different reasons that they needed to do much more important things with deadlines and they already need to go. The mascot girl diligently went to clean and tidy the glasses and plates. Everything was being piled at the kitchen sink ready to be washed. All this while the dragon stayed put and had been observing every little thing the mascot girl is doing. Carrying all the utensils and kitchenwares with difficulty and slow movements. Totally curious on why the girl had been adamant in hiding her face.          "Are you not really going to remove that? It's alot easier to move without that costume." Jiyong asked for a millionth time.         "No.... Don't worry I am just fine."         "How can you even help me move around if you can't even move much on your own? You've been going back and forth between the kitchen sink and dining table for almost thirty minutes now and its not even that far."         "......"           "If you're more convenient with that then suit yourself."           "Kamsahamnida...."           "You are Chaerin's friend. I trust her so I am willing to trust you as well. I am going back to my room. By the way there are several house rules that you need to follow. I will just be giving it to you later or tomorrow."           "Alright....Annyeonghi Jumuseyo..."           "Can you give me a hand?"         "Huh?"         "Come here and give me a hand."         "Ahh- .... neh...." Though nervous with the close proximity and the thought of being busted Dara still obediently came closer and lifted her right arm. Jiyong nonchalantly grabbed her hand and put some of his weight on Dara for support. The girl readily assisted her while putting both of her arms around Jiyong but since he is alot heavier than her and with an added costume they almost stumbled on the floor.         "Aish..! Get rid of that... Tomorrow I will be expecting you to wear something more comfortable. If you are just shy as what the maknae said just get something to cover your face. If not I'll ask someone to put that into the dumpster." Jiyong irately countered. He is obviously pissed. He needs help to do things faster but with what he had observed this girl beside him will just delay everything. He might be a complete a**hole in the eyes of many but being judgmental is never his style.           "I-I'll.. keep that in mind..."           "Jaljayo..." Standing straight without turning back Jiyong just waved his hand as an acknowledgement.           After Jiyong left Dara finally heard the door clicked. As to make sure everything is clear and she is finally left alone, she still waited for another couple minutes to move. Heaving a sigh of relief she hurriedly washed the remaining dishes... Dried it.. and put it back to its respected places. She dashed out and sprinted her way towards the room Chaerin assigned her earlier. Thanking the heavens for having such luck that the guest room is at the farthest corner of the hallway. She can go in and out of the room without being noticed.           Entering the room she made sure to lock it afterwards. Pulling the knob towards her while adding her body weight. Trying it for at least five times. She was a little at ease that it is totally locked. Brisk walking towards the bedside table she grabbed her phone and dialed someone's number.           Dara keeps on pacing back and forth while nervously waiting for the line to be connected.... Removing the mascot head. Her face was dripping with sweat and even before she can look for a clean towel...           "Yah-! Do you know what time it is?!?" At last the call was finally connected.           "BOMMIEE!!!!!! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! MY DEATH IS NEEAAAAARRRRRR! AND FOR THAT I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE THE BESTEST GIRL FRIEND I EVER HAD!!.. THANK YOU FOR YOUR NEVER ENDING PATIENCE! I APPRECIATED ALL THE THINGS THAT YOU'VE DONE FOR ME! AS IN EVERYTHING! AND SORRY FOR ALL THE MISFORTUNES THAT I BROUGHT TO YOUR LIFE! I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET YOU! ALL THE HARDSHIPS AND MEMORIES THAT WE WENT THROUGH I WILL SURELY CHERISH THEM ALL AND DON'T FORGET TO TELL CHAERIN THE SAME THINGS I HAD BEEN SAYING!!! I MIGHT NOT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT SO BEFORE MY TIME RUNS  OUT I WILL SU-....."         "YAH!YAH!YAH!!!!! DARA! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!"           "Bommiyahhhh!!!!!!!" Dara in return keeps on wailing.           "Yah! Did something happened? Are we not successful with the mascot?! Omo! I knew it! Everything you do is always a failure... Tch!"             "I SAW HIM! I SAW HIM! I SAW HIM! Oh please help meeeeeee!"             "What...? Saw who....????"             "Remember the man who was sent  to the hospital because of......me?"             "Yes.... What about him.....? Omo!"           " Bommiyahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I did something awfully wrong!"           "Where did you see him-....?! OH MY GOSH! DID HE GO AND LOOKED FOR YOU?!.... OH MY GOD DARA! DON'T TELL ME YOU WENT BACK TO THAT MANSION AGAIN AND TRIED TO STEAL ANOTHER WISHBONE FROM THEIR DOG?! OH GOSH IF YOU REALLY DID WHAT I WAS THINKING.. HEAVENS HELP ME!... I SWEAR I AM REALLY GONNA SKIN YOU ALIVE AND GIVE YOUR BONES TO THAT DOG AS A PEACE OFFERING!!!!"           "YAH!... I DID N-O-T!!!!!"             "GOOD! JUST DON'T COME NEAR THAT PLACE AGAIN JUST TO MAKE SURE YOU WILL NEVER CROSSED PATHS. ARASSO?!"             "Uhmm......Bom-...."             "If I was in his place I would never want to see you again. I feel pity on him. I wonder what happened to him after he was immediately wheeled to the hospital."           "Well you see.....  he has some scratches... and bruises on his face... A-and  I think the branches that fell from that old tree is kinda sharp but it would be better if it heals faster because I think he will be more good looking that way.... Uh
