With its advanced interface, revolutionary objective, and its quite famous creator, Kris Wu, 'Make Me Over' is undoubtedly the number one app worldwide. After undergoing a makeover himself and seeing the positive impact this event had in his adolescent life, Mr. Wu knew it was his duty to help other people with a similar situation as his to change their lives for the better.
In a world that pays so much attention to one's looks, one would expect that apps like 'Make Me Over' would’ve already oversaturated the technological market. But, surprisingly, the few apps that exist for this matter are not as efficient and eye-catching as 'Make Me Over'. Experts, however, assure that the success of this app is due to the fact that the targeted audience is comprised by anyone. Mr. Wu, at the mere age of sixteen, had such a simple yet innovative view of life, that the task to create an app for people of all ages, different cases, and different nationalities came with no difficulty.
"Initially, I targeted this app for kids my age," Kris Wu tells us. "I thought we were the only ones who really needed it. But while creating my app, I noticed the people around me, no matter their age, were looking forward to my finished product. I then realized that teenagers weren't the only group of people who would benefit from a makeover —a self-esteem boost, as I like to call it —and so, I restarted everything with a broader audience in mind."
Experts aren't the only ones with the opinion that the app's broad audience is one of the main reasons for its success. According to polls and questionnaires, 90% of the app's users agree with the experts.
"The app is designed to discover the pace of each individual user," a forty-six-year-old woman, who benefited from Make Me Over, explains. "So, for example, a sixteen-year-old's makeover plan will have a different pace and level of difficulty than that of a forty-year-old's."
"It's also very easy... 'Make Me Over' knows your limits and never makes you do something that it knows you can't do," a fourteen-year-old user shares with us through our questionnaire.
"'Easy' was one of my goals when I first began creating this," Kris Wu continues. "Making yourself over... it may sound difficult, and that discourages many."
Mr. Wu completely succeeded in every aspect of his creation, especially in the level of difficulty department. As soon as one presses 'start' and fills in a small pop-up box with basic information, one is asked for three body pictures —one facing the front, the second facing the side, and the third facing the back. It takes a minute to process everything, and proceeds to direct you over to two quizzes —one tests your knowledge in fashion, and the other tests your social skills and manners. As soon as one is done, the app processes a list of areas one has to strengthen and others one has to enhance, before creating an easy, step-by-step guide to complete the makeover.
"The step-by-step guide is created with the help of knowledge from psychologists, fashionistas, etiquette teachers, and fitness gurus... and, if you want, you may also send your case over to an expert and if there's one around your area, he or she will personally help you complete each step," Mr. Wu assures. "I mean, you get to completely change your life with the help of knowledgeable trainers... and it's all free."

Yoona closed the magazine in her hands with a determined smile. She'd made her decision, no need to read more of the article.
After inspecting the picture of the very good-looking Kris Wu on the cover, she shifted her gaze towards your sleeping figure on the sofa. Your hair was tied up into a now-messy ponytail —as always. You hadn't cared about washing up after your softball practice, so your forehead was shining with sweat and your cheeks were 'adorned' by smears of green grass and mud. Your (smelly and dirty) shoes laid crooked on the floor in front of the sofa, and to top it all off, you'd fallen asleep hugging your king-sized bag of potato chips, whose crumbs were currently stuck around your lips.
"You could be such a beautiful college student," Yoona sighed. Her doe eyes narrowed with frustration, sending a glare your way. "But you decided to ruin all that by becoming such a dirty tomboy. I don't care if you don't pay any sort of importance to what others think of you whenever they see you walking with your shoulder slumped over, but shouldn't you care about what Kai thinks of you?"
In your sleep, you scratched your nose before shifting positions, letting your back face Yoona.
Your twenty-four-year-old sister took that as a response and scoffed, shaking her head. "Oh, don't go telling me you only like him as a friend. I know you've been head over heels for him ever since you're eleven, even though you claim you've never had a crush in your entire life. As if! That's impos-"
Yoona halted her speech in horror as soon as you let out a loud snore, which woke up your cat, Caramel, with a jolt. A disgusted grimace distorted your sister’s youthful face. "That's it, I'm definitely doing it."
She opened your sports bag, and as soon as she did so, a foul smell oozed out of the bag, stinging Yoona’s eyes. Gingerly and with her eyes closed, she stuck her elegant hands into the bag and searched for your phone. She thanked God the moment she retrieved it.
"Geez, I though something inside that trashcan she calls a bag was going to eat my hand off," she murmured, quickly entering your password. In what seemed like a blink of an eye, 'Make Me Over' was downloaded into your phone. After filling out the information and uploading the pictures she'd discreetly taken of you over the past weeks (she'd been pondering whether to use 'Make Me Over' or force you into taking a etiquette course for quite a while). When the quizzes popped up, Yoona simply woke you up by flinging a cushion towards your face.
"I'll buy you a double king-sized bag of potato chips if you fill these out for me," Yoona promised you, holding up your phone.
Yoona's incentive worked, and eyes half-closed, you began to fill out the quiz. You were still dreaming about your softball tournament the following week to even wonder why Yoona had been using your phone, or to notice the app's logo on the top corner of your screen. The moment you finished and handed back your phone, you flopped down on the sofa, falling into deep slumber once again.
"Thank you," Yoona whispered, mischievously smiling as she pressed 'Send My Case to an Expert'. Slowly, she turned to look at your sleeping figure, and her smile only grew, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "You'll get a huge surprise tomorrow, dear."
What Yoona didn't know, though, was that she'd also be getting a little surprise of her own —the one and only Kris Wu would be taking a case that very same night... a case that belonged to you.
