Jungkook and Jieun were sitting in the car to Jieun's house meeting the parents. Nervous and scared, Jungkook couldn't sit still in the car. How will her parents react when they see him? Will they approve? Minutes later they arrived both standing inside her mansion. Her parents were standing opposite of them.

"You must be Jungkook, my daughter's boyfriend?" says Inhye.

"Neh Mrs Lee."

"Drop the formalities, it's awkward. Call me immo (aunty)."

Inhye gave him a massive hug, smiled to her daughter standing next to him. She was happy that Jieun has found someone special. Jieun is not her little daughter who would always stick to her mother, she has now grown up to a mature young women who is responsible for her own actions. Though Inhye was not around much around her daughter, that did not mean they were on bad terms. They have a really close mother daughter relationship. Next thing, the 4 people were sitting at the dinner table. 

"How much do you love my daughter?" Changho said in a serious tone.

"A lot. I never expected myself to love her honestly. She's different from all the other girls I know or have seen. She's sweet, loving, friendly and beautiful that is why I fell in love with her. I love your daughter very much and could never try and hurt her." Jungkook convincing her parents his love for her was true and meaningful. 

"I do not want my daughter to be thrown away like all the other people at school. She tries her best to make friends at school however they all turn their backs on her becasue of her wealth. If I see you break her heart, you have no idea what I'm capable of doing. No need to be scared. I'm serious for my daughter being happy whom she loves. Jieun is shy, she has not ever experienced love. We are not those parents who would arrange marriages for her because she isn't ready for that yet. All I'm saying is to make her happy. Thankyou." says her father, Changho.

"I will not let you down uncle and immo." 

"Thankyou umma and appa." 

Changho and Inhye were the proudest parents. Seeing their daughter smile and happy made them smile and happy. She is their precious gem to them.

"Your parents are so down to earth. I like it."

They were now alone outside talking in the backyard. Jieun and Jungkook were holding hands and didn't notice it, it felt normal and Jieun was not shy anymore. She felt more confident in herself because the person changed her. 

"They are good people." 

"My parents can be a bit protective at times especially when it comes to boys." Jieun giggled softly.

"I love you and I will not hurt you" 

"I love you too oppa."
