Description

The smell of morning dew,
quiet whistling of the wind,
baby birds chirping,
and honeybees swarming;
around the spring flowers to collect pollen.

Sehi’s face was looking more lugubrious than usual as she gently placed the white chrysanthemums in front of her father- or what seemed like remnants of her father. The sepulchral atmosphere was definitely unavoidable. Then again, that was a judgement upon only on her situation. Because, despite her pain, suffering and torture, the world was still a beautiful place. Although her time had stopped long before, everything else in life was still moving forward.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

So, a little explanation about the title and story. A watchdog can be a guard dog or a person who acts as a protector or guardian, alerting an intruder’s presence or against inefficiency, illegal practices… For this instance, Hell, is a metaphor of the OC’s life, so she is being a watchdog over her own life. Not easily opening up to others and being alert of people who try to enter her ‘Hell’.
