Crystal Chronicles
Description
Whose fate was unclear.
Existence built leaning on two.
Vanished alongside the radiance of the crystal.
Now, we bring together warriors of light once again to shine upon us hopes of the future.
Foreword
Ring of Fates
the prequel to [Whose Existence Vanished]
He was the second to journey away from home, choosing a path of ease and plentiful.
Settling remotely within borders and fruitful harvests.
Yet, his travel log hadn't ended yet; once again
he faces the barren roads without a crystal's radiance,
for they had a stronger light to draw him out and anew.
“Are you really leaving?”
Sungjong looked close to breaking, holding the bottom of his shirt. It seemed so unlike him but still, it showed the side of Sungjong he always knew was there. A fearing kid who knew that one day, he would leave. Just like Howon, who had a jarring head start.
“Yeah,” was the stupid thing that came out of his mouth, “I am.”
FIRST HALF
Sound of Wind
the sequel to [Whose Existence Vanished]
A handful of years has passed since the King had his impromptu adventure.
Now the kingdom of Little Petal faces a threat far beyond comprehension.
With fearful waves of rebellion lapping at their borders, our Letter Bee enters the wind again.
Bearing on his shoulders the letters of written love and the reality of his own.
Once again presented with a choice.
And the sound of his choice will echo forever into the future.
Butterflies illuminated by rays of moonlight flutter by, and skittering of still awake squirrels run by into their homes in the trees. Birds snuggle into their nests, tired from the day. Stray cats glimmer their eyes in the undergrowth as the Fox walks by. His fellow fox friends are already tired, though some hungry mothers are out feeding for their younglings.
Small mushrooms sprout beside fallen trunks and hallow stumps, glowing an iridescent blue in the night. Sunggyu brushes his tail along the tall grasses, some full of grass seeds and tickles his knees.
Wonder if Woohyun’s alright…
SECOND HALF
