“God damn it Jung Yunho! It’s the 8th time you’re calling me today! Just call him will you!”

The loud slam of the phone made Junsu jump. “What was that for?”

Yoochun looked at Junsu and replied irritatingly, “Yunho hyung. He’s stressing over a phone call to Jaejoong hyung WHICH isn’t really hard to decide!”

“They’ve separated for years. Isn’t it normal for Yunho hyung to stress over it a bit?” Changmin reasoned as he continued reviewing all the work he brought back home.

“Not by calling me! I mean if he really wants to get Jaejoong back, he should call him!”

Junsu slammed all the reference books for the certain project Yoochun asked him to research on and crossed his arms on his slender waist. “Yah! He called you to ask for help! Not to get scolded!”

Yoochun’s eyes widened when he hears Junsu’s tone went up. “How?! Force Jaejoong to go back to him?”

Yoochun’s taunt made Junsu puff his cheeks, looking cute rather than angry actually. “NO. Call Jaejoong and arrange a meeting for them or something.”

“Jaejoong wouldn’t just answer and agree. He had already hated us when Yunho hyung broke up with him so typically.”

“Typically?”

Junsu was clearly interested; his eyes told Yoochun that he was waiting for an interesting story. Yoochun knew, but before he could even start, Changmin had already beaten him to it.

“Typical as in Yunho hyung broke up with Jaejoong hyung because he needed to protect him from danger that his family was capable of causing. Typical drama scene.” Changmin recited as he played with his pen.

“Wow… that’s really… typical.”

“Right?” Changmin shook his head and went back to his papers.

Yoochun saw confusion in Junsu and asked seriously again, “Now you still think you can get them back together? Jaejoong hyung doesn’t even want to see Yunho hyung  let alone talk with him.”

“I do. In fact, I think I can help.”

Changmin raised an eyebrow, Yoochun chocked on his coffee, “What?”

“Jaejoong hyung’s my friend and he deserves my help.” Junsu grinned.

“How?” Changmin had to ask, even he who knew Jaejoong and Yunho for years couldn’t figure out a way, so how was it possible that Junsu could?

“You’ll see.”

Junsu then went back to his job with a smile hanging confidently on his face. Yoochun and Changmin could only exchange glances and try to knock themselves out of the confusion.

Junsu sat quietly at the park, reading his notes for the upcoming exam. He was still rubbing his eyes trying to get used to the contact lenses which was taking up too long to get comfortable with.

“Junsu.” A clear voice called for him.

“You made it!” Junsu smiled with his signature tadpole eyes that were turning into slits.

Jaejoong gave out a little chuckle at the cute boy then adjusted himself beside Junsu. His hazel colored hair shone in the sun while the breeze blew away his bangs showing off that beautiful porcelain face.

“It surprised me when I received your call. I didn’t think you’ll need my help anymore.”

“Well, truth be told, I’m really doing quite fine now. Yoochun has been taking really good care of me…even when I’ve been very rude to him before.” Junsu unconsciously smiled when that particular name was mentioned, Jaejoong noticed.

“Yoochun? I thought you called him Mr. Park. Since when have you two got close?” Jaejoong teased lightly, making sure he observed Junsu’s expressions.

“We’re not close.” He emphasized every word, not knowing that he was actually blushing a little “He was the one that asked me to call him that.”

Jaejoong giggle and returned to the main topic, “So, why did you call me out today?”

Realizing he had unconsciously wondered off the main reason, he confined himself again. He crossed his fingers and nervously spoke. “I’ve be receiving a lot of help from you since the therapies.”

“I’m glad. Seeing you like this really makes Yoochun’s efforts worth. ”

Yes it was because of Yoochun’s persistent suggestions that Junsu finally agreed to take Jaejoong’s therapies and get through his nightmares that still haunt him. Since then, Jaejoong and Junsu had been spending more time together, not only just meeting for appointments at Jaejoong’s clinic, but also outside for a couple of drinks when they can.

Because of that they grew fond of each other, like finding another brother they could talk and rely on. Yoochun on the other hand, felt stupid when he found out he was getting jealous of his own suggestion.

“Things really are going well between me and Yoochun, but how about you?”

Jaejoong’s frowned “What do you mean?”

“You and Yunho hyung.” Junsu didn’t fail to notice the change in Jaejoong’s expressions when he mentioned the name which he did on purpose.

Jaejoong swallowed his throat “Who told you?”

“Who else?” Junsu rolled his eyes.

“There’s nothing between me and him now. It’s over.”

Junsu felt like slapping Jaejoong that instant, anyone could see that Jaejoong wasn’t over it and he was still indubitably in love with Yunho.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. You’re eyes are red just thinking of him now. How could it be over if you still hurt remembering that the love of your life left?”

Jaejoong sighed, the thought was painful and he didn’t want to feel worse, with a stern tone he tried to stop the topic. Or rather, he wanted to run away from it. “You don’t know anything Junsu, don’t get involved with this.”

“At least I know he still loves you.”

“What?” Jaejoong’s dry laugh made Junsu’s heart cringed, even Jaejoong felt pathetic himself.

“He called almost every day to Yoochun, trying to get some courage to call you. But he never did. Guess he still feels sorry to have left you.” Junsu smiled. He hoped Jaejoong would understand, at least, touched his heart a little.

“Junsu, sometimes things can’t be forgotten once it’s done.” Jaejoong was on the edge of breaking down, but still, he held it in.

Junsu sighed as he tried to get more sense into Jaejoong “Why don’t you give him a chance to explain and also give yourself a chance to love again?”

“Junsu… I don’t want to hurt again.”

Junsu was about to rip his own hair off when he found out knocking sense into this hard headed idiot wasn’t possible “You’re hurting everyday for God’s sake! If you can help others then why not try helping yourself?!”

Jaejoong was truly shocked when the usually timid and quiet Junsu raised his voice. His eyes blinked in shock until Junsu took hold of Jaejoong’s shoulders.

“Face your problems, don’t run away. Talk to him. It’s best for everyone.”

Jaejoong saw Junsu’s eyes shift from him to someone behind his back. Then Junsu smiled, as if greeting someone, who he soon found out to be Yunho.

“Yun…” he was speechless. Yunho stood still, not daring to take another step. Jaejoong turned back to Junsu, his big brown eyes showed anxiety and sadness, killing Junsu’s soul by the second.

But Junsu manage to keep Jaejoong from running with enough force and gave him a small nod. He left after mouthing ‘You can do it.’ to the beautiful person.

Jaejoong called for Junsu but the younger kept on walking. Jaejoong sat dumbfounded until a voice called out his name, a voice that still called him so gently, so lovingly… a voice he missed so much.
