The front door of the church was kicked open violently. A young man in torn and beat up clothes walked in. Blood tracing a cut at the corner of his lips. Dark purple bruises covered his face. He limped forward despite the pain he was suffering from moving too fast.

All eyes were on him but he was only looking at someone at the front of the church. The groom - a beautiful man dressed in the most expensive suit who was in the middle of his own wedding. Even with all that make-up on his face, his puffed eyes were still visible and he didn’t even care to make the slightest effort to conceal his bitter expression. But at the instant he saw the face of the intruder, his eyes lit up with relief and hope.  

Kyuhyun knew it was faked - the goodbye letter from Siwon that was sent to him two weeks ago. But fear and doubt took the better of him after waiting for days and never once was contacted by Siwon. Thinking the love of his life had given up on them, Kyuhyun numbly agreed to his parents’ proposal and went along with the wedding.

But none of that mattered anymore.

“K-Kyuhyun…”, Siwon whispered softly and Kyuhyun waited no more time before rushing toward him.

People were gasping and his parents were screaming but all Kyuhyun cared about now was how his lips were kissed by Siwon’s and he felt alright again.

“Did you…”, Siwon said as their lips parted.

“No, I didn’t say any vows”

“Good. Let’s go”. Siwon said before grabbing Kyuhyun’s hand and they ran out of the church together. Everything else was left behind.

They got into Siwon’s car and drove away. Maybe later, Siwon would tell Kyuhyun that he was captured by Kyuhyun’s father’s subordinates and how he got out after being locked up. They didn’t mean to kill him, only to keep him damaged enough to not go and ruin the plan.

But at the moment, he got his fingers laced tightly with Kyuhyun’s and they knew nothing could hurt them anymore…
