It was another boring Saturday for Soyeon. Taekwondo class got delayed as there were some problems
 in the studio. She couldn’t contact Jungri for the moment as the Jeon were busy with their weekends 
activities. Well, V, he was gone the moment she woke up.

Speaking of that alien, she wondered what happened in his room. 

For the time he first moved in, he would always lock himself in that room, unless if there was an 
important matter. She wouldn’t even saw his face the whole time in the house. 

Being the curious girl she was, Soyeon got up from her bed and proceeded her way towards his room on 
the far end. That room used to be Baekhyun’s. Truthfully, the whole house used to be the Byun’s until 
the death of Mr. and Mrs. Byun. As there were no inheritance, the house went into the Cha’s hand. 

Soyeon hesitated when she held the doorknob in her hand. I don’t think you should go in there, Cha Soyeon.
 She ignored her inner voice and turned the doorknob before pushing it open widely. 

There she smelled the fragrance of his room. She scrunched her nose when she smelled something 
weird in the air. Soyeon took a step forward into the room and went after that fishy smell. Soon, she found
herself standing in front of his dressing table. She looked around the roomm cautiously before she pulled the 
drawer belonged to V.  There she saw a bottle of pills lying with its cap opened and a few pills scattered messily.

She looked around the room and spotted a box of tissue on his study table. She took a tissue and carefully
 took one of the pills. She sniffed it a little before throwing it away with a horrid face. She couldn’t believe what
 she had seen and smelled. It was awful. It made her dizzy and fuzzy. She couldn’t believe V was into those 
such things. Soyeon knew what those awful things are.

Drugs.

“What are you doing?” Soyeon jumped a little when she heard the deep voice belonged to V. She was caught.
Soyeon faced V who was standing at the doorframe with a jacket in hand. His eyes travelled to see his drawer 
exposed, a tissue and a drug lying in the table. His eyes averted back to her with a glare as he walked towards 
her with anger.

“What the heck are you doing in my room?!” He roared as he pushed the drawer to shut harshly with a loud bang. 
Soyeon flinched slightly at the amount of strength he put to push the drawer. The brunette faced V with a face 
that was written with horror. ”I-I...” She was lost of words. She didn’t knew what to say as she was still shocked 
with what activity he had been doing. He slammed the dressing table loudly and gaze into her eyes with a 
piercing look, his breathing was uneven and his jaws were clenched tightly. 

“I asked you, what the hell are you doing in my freaking room? Answer me!” He roared again and she 
avoided his face. “I-I was j-just checking out--”

“YOU freaking come into MY room without PERMISSION!” V exclaimed and Soyeon snapped.
”Your room?” She asked him and when she faced him again, the look in her eyes changed. Before that,
 it was filled with horror and such but after what he mentioned, it surged with fire and anger. She pushed 
him away. “Who the hell said this is YOUR room?!” She snapped and the table was turned. “NOTHING in
 this HOUSE belongs to YOU! Please keep that in your freaking smart- mind!” She backfired him and 
he gazed the floor as if realization just hit him. “I-I....”

“Whatever, V! I don’t wanna care anymore about you.” She said as a final blow and he widened his eyes 
when he saw her leaving his room. She cared...? 

“H-Hey, wait!” The orange-haired male shouted after her as he catched after her. He held her wrist 
to prevent her from leaving. “Let me go, V.” She hissed while she tugged her hand to escape but he tighten 
his grip on her. “No.” He simply replied.

“I said let go!” She voiced in anger and turned her head to face him with her glare.

“I said no.” He answered with the same glare. As she felt sick with his games, she harshly pulled her wrist free
from him and turned her back on him. “S-Soyeon, l-let me explain...” He said weakly and took a step forward. 
As if she could sense his movement she instructed .“Don’t move from your spot.” 

V complied and he took his foot back to its previous position. His gaze was stuck on the suddenly interesting 
floor. His hands were balled up into a loosen fist as he bit his lower lips. There were a heavy tension in the air
for the passing seconds. 

“I can’t believe you did all of this activities. I-I seriously can’t.” She finally spoke, disgrace evident in her voice. 
“I don’t know what has gotten into your head to possibly thought of doing this such horrible things!” She continued 
and he opened his mouth to speak but again with her sense, she held up her right hand with a ‘stop’ motion. 
Immediately, he pursed his lips shut obediently.

“I am seriously furious with this matter. I don’t care with whatever activity you want to do but the thing is, we 
are going to get married. Forcefully! Though we are both disagreeing on this matter, it’s still on our parent’s decision.” 
Soyeon spoke and turned to face him with a hurted face. V’s heart clenched in pain when he saw such a disgrace 
in her expression. She stared at his eyes as if searching for something in it. His heart was practically jumping in his 
ribs, ready to burst out any moments later when he stared back into the beautiful almond eyes.

“I know you love your parents too, right? You don’t want to upset them so you agreed on marrying me, right? But if 
they knew about this matter, what would their reaction be? Don’t you thi--” 

Soyeon’s sentence was cut off hald when he suddenly pulled her into an embrance with her guard down. She 
widened her eyes in suprise and froze in his warmth. V placed his head on her shoulder as he wrapped tightly 
around her. 

The silence overtook the surroundings again.

“I was alone....” He voiced shakily and she softened at the weak tone of his. “I...I w-was...very very alone...” He continued and his breathing was clearly heard. Soyeon stood still although
 er body screamed for her to react. But she stayed still and waited for him to continue. 

“I-I do...do love them but....they left me alone...alone in the dark...” He said and a few moments 
later, she heard soft sobs coming from him and with that, she slowly raised her hands and wrapped
him back in her hug. Soyeon gently rubbed his back and told him that it was okay. 

“Th-They....They only used me...because of my grades....” He said and his sobs were harder. Soyeon felt
a stab on her heart. She never knew he suffered a lot too. “H-Hey....It’s okay, it’s okay, I’m here... Why would 
such parents do that? I don’t think they are as bad as that. Maybe it’s yourself, your inner self. It’s lonely 
in there, huh?” Soyeon asked softly as a whisper and she felt his head moved for a nod. It was silent
 again for a few while and when Soyeon was about to pull back, 
he voiced again.

“This wasn’t the first time my parents got me into an arranged marriage though.” 

Soyeon literally pulled back with wide eyes. “Wh-What?” She asked confusedly.

V’s eyes wandered away and he heaved a sigh. “I kind of...rejected all of them...” He said and rubbed his 
nape awkwardly. Soyeon’s eyes grew bigger by the second. “Wh-What do you mea--” 

“You attracted me.” He confessed and looked straight into her eyes and she looked into his and found....sincerity. 
When he saw that she wasn’t reacting, he took a step forward towards her. 

“You attracted me, Cha Soyeon.” He said again in a louder and confident voice as he added her full name at 
the end. He took another step forward and grabbed her shoulders with his big hands before bending slightly 
to be the same eye-level with her. He gaze longingly into her eyes which was already the size of a saucer, 
and not missing the slightly red hue that painted her cheeks.

“Cha Soyeon?”

“Yes?”

“I think I’ve fallen for you. Hard.”
