Once the two of them were all they needed to be happy. Nothing mattered but having the other in his arms. Jongin was enough for Kyugsoo, and Kyungsoo was enough for Jongin. But soon, fame consumed Jongin, and the endless compliments and admiration he got boosted his confidence, leaving him craving for more. 

"Jongin..." uttered Kyungsoo, shrinking into himself as he felt the same situation starting.

"Don't call me that in front of the fans, D.O. We're EXO here, got it?" replied Jongin, with just too much sharpness in his voice.

Kyungsoo wanted to cry. He hated hearing that tone come out of Jongin's mouth, and he resented the fangirls for turning him into this conceited jerk. 

Kyungsoo took in a deep breath, ordering the tears to remain inside. "Kai... Let's go, the concert is over. Let's go home now". He gently reached for Jongin's hand, only to have it yanked away. 

"D.O we owe our time to these fans! Without them we wouldn't have these concerts to begin with! Right, girls?"

His clear, resonating voice earned a shriek of clamor from the army of girls surrounding the two of them, clinging onto every piece of Jongin they could find. 

"Go home now, I'll see you there later", said Jongin, turning to face the fans mid-sentence, leaving Kyungsoo feeling hurt and alone. 

Fine, I will go... Muttered Kyungsoo to himself, but Jongin was already long absorbed in listening to the praises and compliments on his gorgeous appearance to hear what he had just said. 

Kyungsoo walked home, letting the snow mask the wet tears dripping down his face. He was replaying pictures in his head of the girls' arms gripping Jongin's arms, neck, . It isn't fair, he thought. Those should only be mine to touch...
