Foreword

Azure Eyes
Will anyone be able to see the real me?

"Hey hey, have you heard? There's a new student!" Whispers quickly flooded the room and glances were thrown around, eager to find out the new freshman. Oh the gossips.

"Yeah, I heard she's got Azure Eyes." Unique.

"Azure Eyes? Isn't that rather ... perculiar?" So judgemental.

"Exactly, she must be a weirdo. Let's not hang out with her." Haughty laughs filled the room. What ignorance.

"Have you heard?" Oh Se Hun, heir to the Oh Empire questioned lazily as he laid on the couch, eyes closing shut in an attempt to sleep. A magazine was lying over his face, effectively blocking his sight from glaring lights. I'm tired.

"About?" Xi Lu Han, heir to the Xi Empire raised a delicate eyebrow, eyebrows furrowing deeply in a cute manner. He sat next on the chair next to Sehun, as he flipped through the latest issue of Vogue magazine. What's going on? Oh this looks nice!

"I presume it's about the new student." Do Kyung Soo, heir to the Do Empire replied in dignity and esteem. He then turned his attention back to his report, effectively muting out all other sounds. I wonder what she's like?

"Oh I know! I heard about her through the rumors!" Park Chan Yeol, heir to the Park Empire beamed brightly, waving his hands in the air excitedly as he rocked himself in the custom-made gold rocking chair. A new student! Now that's exciting!

"Calm down Yeol, it's only a new student." Byun Baek Hyun, heir to the Byun Empire and Chanyeol's best friend, combed a hand through his hair, before plopping himself down on the nearby couch, opposite of Sehun. Yeol needs to chill, Baekhyun thought absentmindedly, smiling fondly. The whole group of them were hanging out in their den, where only they had excess to.

"It's a she?" Kim Joonmyun, also known by his other name Suho, questioned, eyes widening at the new piece of information. His eyebrows then furrowed as he worried for the new student. How will she survive in this academy?

"Relax hyung, you're making a weird expression again." Kim Jongin, also better known as Kai, placed a comforting hand on Suho's shoulder. Being his younger brother meant that he had to stop Suho from making those weird expressions. Creepy.

"Heard she's on a scholarship though, must be a commoner then." Kim Minseok, aka Xiumin, the eldest of the four Kim brothers who were heirs to the Kim Empire, remarked casually, biting into a chinese delicacy that Luhan had brought back with him from his return from China. These chinese buns are delicious! They're called what again? Ah, baozis! I need to get Luhan to bring back some more of these!

"Commoner or not, she needs to abide by the rules." Hwang Zitao, heir to the Hwang Empire, gave a straight glare as he laid back into the couch, as if wishing for the new student to appear out of thin air and then disintegrate. How troublesome.

"She could be nice, don't you think? We should get to know her more." Zhang Yixing, heir to the Zhang Empire smiled warmly as he strum a few strings on his gold-plated guitar, humming a melody as he did so. We could be friends!

"Don't be too naive Xing, you know we never mingle with those freshies. They're not up to our level." Kim Jong Dae, nickname 'Chen', the third oldest brother of the four Kim brothers scoffed at Yixing's naivity. He then crossed his arms and stared defiantly at the television broadcast. Must be wary of the new girl.

"Enough. If she creates trouble, then we'll have no choice but to step in. A commoner eh? This should be interesting." Kris Wu, heir to the Wu Empire smirked, leaning back into his beanbag comfortably. We'll see how it goes.

"So this is it huh? Seoul Academy, only for the most esteemed and elite, prestigious name." Tiffany Kim stepped out of the limo gracefully, pulling her luggage alongside her. She wore Prada sunglasses and was clad head-to-toe in branded goods. Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuittton, you name it. She ran a hand through her long, luscious maroon locks and took off her Prada sunglasses. Azure eyes snapped open in determination.

"From this moment on, I am no longer Tiffany Kim, daughter of rich tycoon Kim Jaejoong and Kwon BoA, heiress of Taeyang Group, the richest in the whole of Southeast Asia. I am now Lee Min Jung, a commoner studying in her freshman year at the prestigious Seoul Academy."
