"Uh...I think there's a misunderstanding here," the petite boy deadpans, "she's the one checking you out, not me." He continues defending indifferently, thumb pointing at his friend, who gasps in surprise at the sudden realization of being tattled out, behind him.

"I was not!... Well, maybe I was- but you said he's cute too!" The said friend retorts making the doe eyed eyes' go even wider than the usual. Cute, Jongin can't help but notice.

"No, I did not." Kyungsoo replies keeping his stoic expression. Which didn't really help at all when he felt his cheeks slightly heating up, for some unknown reason. Probably, he's getting a bad cold, he thought. He should have stayed home yesterday, instead of putting up with his friends' antics of it's-weekend-we-should-have-fun-and-the-weather's-nice, which is definitely a ing lie when afternoon came. Dark clouds started forming, and in just seconds, heavy rains began to pour down on them mercilessly, drenching his new pair of kicks his mom had given him as a present for the new school year. Or, probably from embarrassment. But of course, Kyungsoo is determined it is more than the former, because if it is so...

How awkward could that be?

Maybe, Kyungsoo should have thought of his actions first before deciding to tattle her out. Well, if he only knew she would retort back, he wouldn't have done it in the first place. After all the years they've been friends, he still always forgets. But, maybe it's the way the tan guy stands tall in front of him, or how he's staring back at him intimately, that made Kyungsoo forgot for a moment and tattle her out. Because, Jongin's stares are so intimidating which makes Kyungsoo do things against his own rationality.

"Okay, maybe I'd said you're cute, but I don't adore you, just so you know. So, don't go assuming I like you, because that will never happen." The doe-eyed guy mutters indiscreetly, but still finds a way to be thoughtful by bowing slightly before trudging away from the scene, his friend following behind, leaving a dejected Jongin. But, Kyungsoo knows too well, how easily his heart could  be swayed just a mere flash of smile, which Jongin had been doing for the last few minutes he'd been talking, until he walked out.

He is that weak, but he's trying not to show. 

a/n: This is not actually the very first ff I had made, but it's my very first chaptered ff of Kaisoo. I hope you guys go easy on me, since I'm really new on this thing. I'm not a really good writer tbh, at least I'm trying not be bad either. Just so you know, this is an open story, where the plot is actually unplanned. Like, totally unplanned! lmao. I really like writing spontaneously, like how life happens in reality. I just choose what will happen next the moment I start writing. So, if you ever find flaws on my story, I apologize in advance. :)

On the other hand though, I hope you enjoy reading it! As much as I enjoy writing it. ;)
