Jinhwan was called into his father’s study. He scowled. He disliked his father. It wasn’t enough to hate him. But he disliked him. After threatening to send him abroad if he got into trouble again, Jinhwan stayed under the radar by ensuring that there were no fights and being on his best behaviour. He wouldn’t have listened to his father if it wasn’t for Naeun. He heard rumours that Naeun was transferring. He didn’t like that, yesterday Chorong had called him up saying that it was confirmed that she was transferring. The thought of her transferring pissed him off. But what could he do? He entered into his father’s study. His dad looked up, ‘Sit here’, he said indicating a seat next to him. Hesitantly Jinhwan sat down. He didn’t like the calm voice present in his dad’s voice. His father then nodded at a bodyguard and handed his father an envelope. He then threw the envelope to the table. Jinhwan stared at the envelope. He knew what was probably inside, but didn’t want to open it. ‘Open it’, his father said watching him carefully. Jinhwan reached out and grabbed it, he opened it slowly and saw pictures, of him and Naeun. Some were of Naeun only. Jinhwan didn’t know how they were taken or when they were taken, but they were taken. Secretly without him knowing. He looked at his father furious. ‘Get rid of that girl from your head’, his father said. Jinhwan smirked. This old man wants me to what? He thought, however the next sentence his father spoke caused Jinhwan to become shocked and annoyed, ‘I have arranged a meeting with the chairman of Hankai Group’s daughter’, he said as he bought out a photo and put it on the table for Jinhwan to see. ‘You and she are to get married in two years time, during then and now, I want you to get closer to her and know her better’. Jinhwan stood up; he didn’t want to listen to this. ‘Sit down, I’m not finished yet’, said his father, however Jinhwan turned his back and walked off. He didn’t want this. No. He won’t let that happen. 

It was a Tuesday evening, first week of Christmas break started and Naeun was bored. Surprisingly Suga hadn’t called her, infact; he didn’t bother her ever since she walked off. Not like she was expecting anything however it did feel a little strange. Her father had been discharged from the hospital yesterday, and things were going back to its normal place, only slightly. Her parents planned a trip to Jeju for a week. This week she needed to find a way to spend time. She walked out of the house; and headed off to her part time job. When her father had found out where she was working he seemed to strongly disagree. Naeun tried asking her father why but he had just shook his end, in the end he had given up and said that she was allowed to work there. As Naeun replayed the memory again she frowned. Obviously there was something about that place she worked, her mind drifted off to what she had seen on the wall, who was Min Yoongi? And that person who had written Naeun’s name... was that her or someone else? She arrived at the front of her work place, already she felt happy, something about this place made her feel warm and comfortable, just as she was about to enter someone said her name from behind. ‘Naeun?’ turning around she saw it was Jinhwan. ‘Oh, hey’, she said, both stared at each other for some time.  

Jinhwan watched as Naeun walked around the restaurant serving people. He watched her carefully, she seemed alright, and she didn’t look tired or unhappy. Finally Naeun sat down on his table. ‘So how have you been’, she asked. Jinhwan didn’t know what to say, how has he been? . But he couldn’t say that. ‘I’ve been well’, he said nodding slightly, ‘And what about you? Is your shoulder alright?’, he asked Naeun. Naeun nodded, ‘Yes’, she said. They both stayed quiet for some time. ‘Thank you’, he said finally, ‘seriously, thank you Naeun for protecting me, even though it’s supposed to me protecting you.’ Naeun smiled a bit before laughing, ‘it’s okay’. Naeun stood up. ‘I need to go’, she said nodding at the customer who was waiting at the till. Jinhwan nodded back. Minutes, turned to hours and Jinhwan hadn’t left. Naeun kept glancing at his way wondering when he would leave. Around 10pm she walked up to Jinhwan. The restaurant was about to close. ‘Are you not leaving?’, asked Naeun frowning. Jinhwan grinned ‘yeah once your shift finishes’. Naeun turned around, ‘he’s crazy’, she muttered as walked towards the changing room to get dressed to her normal attire. Jinhwan stood up and looked around the restaurant, at one corner he noticed a wall of messages he walked towards it, he read them as he grinned at some weird ones but then his eyes went on one certain message:

Yes mwhaha back to that message on the wall. ^^ Ah, last night I was itching to write a chapter but I needed to submit last minute coursework so in the end I spent 3 hours glued to my screen typing up 7500 words on a small poem. This chapter sounds a bit rushed right? Ah but thank you for reading my fanfic ;-;
