Humans in this world are divided into ALICE and non-ALICE users. 

ALICE: a supernatural ability of a person to do things that ordinary people are not capable of (i.e. telekinesis, flight, mind control, etc.)

         : a gift that other people are envious of

         : a threat that most people are afraid of

Years after the fall of the Council, new generations of Alice users were born. One of them is the heir of the Fire Alice user named Kai. 

Kim Jongin, that's my name. It was taken from the name of my great forefather. He was a known fire user in the world of Alice. I have no one left. My parents died in an accident. I guess Alice users are still vulnerable to accidents. After all, we're also human.

I'm an Alice user but I'm trying to be ordinary as I could be...because they are hunting us down. They, some non-Alice users called Rius, have been experimenting on individuals just like me. They were able to build weapons that can take us down. Fear led them to do so. They were and are still afraid of us.

And as a consequence, every Alice user is trying to live in the shadows of non-Alice users. Non-Alice users don't know that we exist because our stories were erased from history. The members of Rius are the only ones who know of our existence.

If I could do one thing before I die. I want to let the world know about us and our stories that are untold.
