The 25th December, a day like any other.Like I said, this "day" is super short, but I still want to keep it seperate from the 25th. So up it goes ^^; The 25th will probably be up on Tuesday. (Then, entirely contrary to my original plan, there's a few more days after that. Welp).
Can I just say I'm kind of overwhelmed by how people actually like this silly thing I conjured up and are leaving such sweet comments? ;; Kisses for all of you - you're all fabulous~
Contrary to his expectations, nary a soul disturbs him with their Christmas coupling conundrums. Nor does anyone approach him with their efforts to hook him up with any available 20-somethng year old woman south of the 39th parallel. Sunggyu hopes this is because they've accepted his desire for singlehood and his inability to care about who's dancing with who at the Christmas party. He hopes it's not because Dongwoo and Bora outted him and now everyone's avoiding the office .
The worry grabs at him all day. He keeps his head down - even more so than usual - and leaves the office the moment he can. Today, that turns out to be at a quarter to seven. As he's heading out the door, he gets a few waves and 'Merry Christmas'es from co-workers who are similarly trying to finish everything they can before the day off tomorrow. Sunggyu decides he was fretting over nothing.
He's pretty sure he was fretting over nothing.
He hopes he was fretting over nothing.
With the night that's in it, Woohyun's too busy to give Sunggyu a lift. He won't be able to see him on the 25th for the same reason and possibly not on the 26th either. Then it's the weekend and then it's Sunggyu's stupid company and their stupid Christmas party, so Woohyun will, presumably, be busy yet again... Not, you understand, that Sunggyu especially cares either way whether or not he sees Woohyun. He's merely noting the facts out of interest.
He buys greasy noodles and a beer and goes back to his flat to eat. Mid-meal, he decides that eating at his tiny, chilly flat really does . He's surprised at himself for having forgotten that.
