A/N: surprise bonus! I've been contemplating whether to post this or not since many of you complained there's not much jinhwanxsoohyun. so here you go cause I love you guys! ^^ btw the story about the healing camp was true. forgot to tell you guys heheh. you can look it up if you want to.

Donghyuk kept on pressing the next channel after the other, nothing seemed to catch his eye. That day, he managed to get an okay pass from Hanbin to stay at home since he pretty much excelled their last month evaluation project. He was starting to think that it was pointless since there was literally nothing to do at the dorm. He ate a bowl of ramyun and a few slices of watermelon earlier so he was freaking bloated then. His laptop was at the repair shop and so he could not play computer games like he normally would. None of his friends were free to hang out, including his other members. They were all practicing back in the YG trainee building. 

"Yah, you're going to break the tv like that," Yunhyeong rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand as he shuffled out of his room. He was apparently sick that day so Hanbin excused him, demanding that he should rest. Yunhyeong only suffered a mere cold but Hanbin was not going to let him practice. He said that he didn't want anyone else to be infected with it when deep down, the latter knew that Hanbin just cared too much for him. It sort of made Yunhyeong happier considering the leader's affection towards him.

"This . Maybe I should've join the others to practice," Donghyuk blurted. Yunhyeong made his way to the latter, plopping himself on the couch next to him. "How can you say that? A day off is like heaven, when you're not sick," he added at the end before sneezing for the umpteenth time. Honestly, he had no one to blame but himself. If only he had bring an umbrella like Jinhwan told him to, none of this would have happened. 

The front door was swung open after a beeping sound and all the other members bursted in with loud chatters and laughters. They all seemed like in a good mood. Maybe the practice went well. "Yo! My Yoyo hyung, feeling any better?" Bobby asked him to which his reply was, another sneeze. "Ah, seriously? Go away, don't sit close to me." Yunhyeong laughed at his reaction, saying, "And here I was thinking that you care for me. Bobby will always be Bobby." "Hey, what is that supposed to mean?"

"You know what, I gave up. Here maknae, enjoy the show," Donghyuk handed the remote to Chanwoo who took it dumbfoundedly. Nevertheless, he still flipped through the channels, hoping that maybe one of his favourite dramas, Pinocchio, would air a rerun. He missed episode 3 since he had to practice dancing with Junhoe and Bobby. He was perhaps the member that was the most avid fan of dramas. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that he was a child actor before. 

"Eo? Isn't that Suhyun? Oh, and Hayi nuna and Chanhyuk hyung is there too!" he exclaimed which caught the members' attention. Even Donghyuk who was walking back to his room retreated his steps and joined the others watching it. Actually, it was a programme called 'Healing Camp' and it seemed like all of the top finalists of Kpop Star from season 1 to 3 were there. They were seated according to their representative agencies and Junhoe couldn't help but to yell, "Go YG!" 

"There is a report that 'something' is going on," the emcee, Kim Jaedong, shot the question which perked the members' interest even more. They all knew that Hayi and Suhyun had boyfriends but they didn't know anything about the others. Jinhwan and Hanbin were so focused that it made Chanwoo felt amused secretly. 

Surprisingly enough, Kwon Jina, the 3rd place winner of Kpop Star 3, spoke up, "Actually...Sam..." Sam Kim, who was the runner up for the same season, and just so happened to be in the same agency as Kwon Jina, was flabbergasted. Anyone could tell he panicked, which made the emcees even curious. "Last time, Suhyun came to record as a featuring artist on Toy's album. While watching Suhyun's video, his face brightened up and he said she was cute." "When did I?!" Sam tried to defend himself but his face was beet red by then.

Back in reality, all the members froze once they heard Jina's story. Their heads slowly turned towards Jinhwan, who was silent and watching the screen intently. He was too silent to be exact, which made the members worry and scared at the same time. Jinhwan is an angel, his face was calm and he always put others before him. But like they say, the nicest people are the scariest once they're angry. And there are two things which could trigger that; Suhyun's rumour with some guy and his action figures collection being disturbed.

"H-hyung, are you okay?" Hanbin peeked a look at the latter. Still, no movements whatsoever. 

"I just ran into him at Antenna Music when I went to feature for Toy," on the screen, it was Suhyun's turn to defend. All the other members exhaled, relieved that she explained. "See hyung? It's nothing. Even Suhyun looks uninterested," Bobby commented. But maybe, he spoke too soon. "They even exchanged numbers," Jina added to which Sam replied, "That's because nuna asked for it first! I only took it because you did." The whole set were definitely amused at how things were flowing.

But not Jinhwan. Especially not him.

"Aish, this show is stupid," Junhoe acted like he was affected and snatched the remote from Chanwoo to shut the tv off. As if to enlighten the atmosphere, Yunhyeong shouted, "Are you guys hungry? Let's order pizza. It's on me." This obviously was well received with cheers but Jinhwan didn't even smile. His eyes were still glued to the screen although it was off. Hanbin, Yunhyeong and Bobby immediately ushered all the other guys to do something else instead of staring at Jinhwan whose mood suddenly turned sour. 

The maknaes complied as they got up and shuffled away, leaving Jinhwan all alone in the living room.

His eyes were burning as he crushed his can of red bull with one hand, causing Bobby who was last to leave, to shudder a little.

"Psh, he's not even that good," Jinhwan said. He was lying in his bed for the past hour. He wouldn't probably admit this to anyone but ever since watching that episode of Healing Camp, he had been watching Sam's performance in Kpop Star. Before, he didn't even knew him at all. Now, he was already on the fifth episode's performance. He kept on telling himself that he was better and Sam's voice tone would never suit Suhyun's liking. Before they started going out, Suhyun mentioned that she love his voice. 

"I just love his voice. When watching Win, I was rooting for Jinhwan's team. Not Team B, but Jinhwan's team."

He still remembered her words on tv, which honestly moved him a little. For her to confess that she likes his voice in front of the camera  just proved that she was really his fan. He got teased a lot by the other members at that time when the show was aired. As much as he tried to deny it, it did feel good to know that she likes his voice. It was the very thing that leads them to become closer and soon enough, blossomed into a beautiful relationship.

But that relationship felt wrecked by a certain presence of which Jinhwan wasn't fond of. 

His ringtone of AKMU's Time and Fallen Leaves blasted which disturbed his thoughts. Mickey Leader calling. "Hello?" he answered. "Oh hyung, are you at the dorm?" Hanbin asked. "Mhm. Why?" "Oh can you get me the treasure map and bring it here? It's under my pillow," Hanbin explained. Jinhwan honestly was not in the mood to get out but he knew Hanbin really needed it. Plus, he was the only one at dorm. "Yeah, sure."

"Here," he handed it to Hanbin, his face void of expression and no sign of amusement and tranquility like it always would. He was about to leave when Hanbin held his wrist. "Hyung, what have you been doing all day? Don't tell me you're still worked up over that Sim or Sam dude." "I'm fine, Hanbin-ah," he unlocked Hanbin's grip and walked outside, making the leader to sigh out of worry. His legs brought him towards the vending machine on the 2nd floor, hoping that maybe his favourite snack would at least make him feel better. He inserted a few coins into the slot, but someone else already pushed the button. He was about to scold whoever it was (the highly suspected ones were Bobby and Junhoe), but when he realized it was his favourite snack he knew it wasn't them.

It was her.

It was irony how he felt better and bitter seeing her face. She had an endearing smile on her face, arms crossed as she leaned against the wall. "Don't you have practice?" he asked flatly. He tried to act normal but he wasn't that much of an actor. He knew she could sense his bad mood soon. "I do. You?" He shook his head, saying, "Hanbin. He asked me to bring something." "Ah..." Suhyun could only nod. She felt weird, Jinhwan was not being himself. He was utterly quiet. The atmosphere was strangely awkward. She wondered, could a couple even be awkward around each other? Well yeah, if it was a blind date or something. She hated this, this suffocating silence. "Opp--"

I've been waiting for this, you ready?

Jinhwan's eyes perked up as he listened Suhyun's phone rang. It was his voice, his cover he did for Mix and Match of the song 'There Goes My Baby' by Usher. He didn't even knew she used his voice as her ringtone. "Hello?" she signalled for him to wait as she went someplace else to talk. Curious, Jinhwan couldn't help but to eavesdrop.

"Oh, Geonji oppa!" she chuckled. Geonji oppa?

"Eyy, why? It's a good name." More chuckles. What's so funny?

"Now? Hmm, oh okay. I'll ask oppa about it but I think he's cool. Okay, bye." 

Hearing the word 'bye,' Jinhwan quickly rushed to the vending machine again, pretending to open his snack and eat it. "Oppa, how about we have dinner altogether at my dorm tonight? Ask the other oppas too. There's even Winner oppas and Hayi unnie later on," she smiled adoringly. She thought this dinner was the perfect chance to give strength to Jinhwan to face whatever unpleasant thing he was facing then. Little did he know, it was her. "Sure."

"Excuse me, sir. Are you ready to order yet?"

"Shhhh!" Jinhwan glowered down behind the menu when the waiter asked. He was there. He knew he shoudn't be but his legs just carried him there. He had to know who was this Geonji oppa and why would they be having lunch together now.

"Sir, if you're not going to order then.."

"Aish, alright. Just give me coffee," He exasperated. The waiter looked displeased with his action but he walked away to make his order nevertheless. He kept on holding to the menu to cover his face so the waiter didn't want to have another argument who someone as weird as that. It was enough that he finally ordered something. Jinhwan peeked again, he still didn't understand why Sam Kim was the one with Suhyun then. Maybe Geonji oppa is a hyung of that bastard?

But aside from that, Suhyun's in between laughters and Sam's eye smiles made him fidget. It made him uncomfortable. Calm down, Jinhwan. He keeps on chanting in his head to prevent himself from doing something utterly stupid. Self-control is extremely hard. Especially when your opponent is provoking you. 

Sam got up and reaches out his hand to touch her face, or at least that was what Jinhwan saw. He couldn't help it anymore. That was it. This was the breaking point for him. He put down the menu and marched towards them as he grabbed Sam's arm with a little bit more force. "Don't touch my girlfriend," he growled. Sam's eyes widened as he was shocked due to his sudden action. Suhyun on the other hand was even more startled. "Oppa? What are you doing?" She panicked as she removed Jinhwan's grip from Sam's arm. "Who..are you exactly?" Sam asked cautiously. He honestly didn't recognize the latter. "Her boyfriend. And as you can see, she's taken. So back off."

Suhyun gasped hearing Jinhwan saying those things to Sam. It wasn't like Jinhwan at all but she fully understood the situation now. He was freaking jealous for no reason. With an apologetic face, she dragged Jinhwan outside of the restaurant to lecture him about being irrational. He promised he wouldn't be so after the whole Bobby incident. 

"Oppa! What was that?!" she half-yelled.

"He's obviously making a move on you, you dimwit," he grimaced. She sighed loudly. "Really now? What happened to your promise?" "I have my reasons. He's really into you, alright? We're boys. We can know when the other likes a girl," he defended. "You don't know him. He doesn't even know you, oppa!" she cried. "Why are even having lunch with him? He's not a gagman, why would you laugh every 3 seconds?" he questioned her seriously. "You followed me? You followed me!" fell open realizing the situation now. 

"Jinhwan oppa?"

Both turned to the voice and he was actually surprised to see her. And some other girl whom looked familiar. "Hayi? What are you doing here?" he asked. "Having lunch. Wanna join us? Oh, this is Jina, she was in Kpop Star 3," Hayi introduced as the latter bowed. "You're an iKon member, right?" she tried recalling vaguely. "Wait, you're not having lunch with Suhyun and Sam too, right?" he was hoping it was pure coincidence that Hayi was there as well. "Yeah, we are. Oh, Sam's here! We'll go first," Jina smiled politely as she dragged Hayi inside.

Jinhwan's realization washed over him as he realized that he might need more self-control training. He just did something that was probably laughable by anyone. The stupidest thing ever. To misunderstand his girlfriend for no reason at all and to embarass himself in front of some kid who didn't even know who he was. He turned towards Suhyun as he smiled sheepishly. "You're not having lunch with only the two of you, are you?" he nervously laughed. "Nope," she answered amusedly. Jinhwan sighed, "Okay! I'm so sorry Suhyunnie! Really sorry! Aish, I can't believe I broke my promise! Just let me go, once?" he grinned widely, hoping that his eye-smile charm would swoon her.

Inside, Sam already asked Hayi what was really going on. "Ah...I didn't know she has a boyfriend," he bit his lip. "Yeah, so like you see, oppa is really scary when anyone messes with Suhyun. But other than that, he's super sweet," she nonchalantly replied. "Sweet? He looked like he was ready to murder me," Sam exaggerated. "Yeah, because you were trying to hit on her," Hayi shot back. Sam pouted, "I didn't know she has a boyfriend!" "Aha, so it is true you like her," Hayi smiled mischieviously. Jina could only laugh at the situation thinking Sam was too innocent in everything he does.

"Bye oppa," Suhyun ignored Jinhwan's series of pleas and immediately went back inside. "What I'd miss?" With this, Hayi and Jina both bursted into laughter seeing the clueless Suhyun. She really was a baby who knew nothing about Sam's cute little crush on her. "What?" "Ah, nothing. Nunas have gone mad. Come, sit," he patted the seat next to him as he scooted closer towards the window. Suhyun decided to just comply for now and ask Hayi later.

So maybe Jinhwan was being reasonable after all. Boys could really tell when one is liking a girl.

"So what about you, Hayi nuna? Any boyfriend? You know, just to be careful," Sam sarcastically said. "Why? You're going to hit on me too?" she teased but Suhyun didn't get it. "Not answering the question, nuna." "Tell you what, I'll tell you if you tell Suhyun what happened earlier," she purposely said so in order to avoid being questioned. It was enough that Winner, iKon, Suhyun, Chanhyuk and GD knew. No more people could know their secret relationship if she wanted it to last. "Aish, you're being petty," Sam grimaced. The lunch soon was filled with Suhyun's never ending questions and bugging due to her unquenchable curiosity.
