Midnight After Four Years11:30
Minseok walked into the Bubble Cafe, with his hood pulled up over his head and his face to the ground.
It hadn't changed.
Not one part of the once frequented cafe had changed in the three years Minseok hadn't been there.
But things had changed for Minseok.
The short man quietly stepped up to the cashier to order the same coffee he had every time he visited. With his coffee in hand, he sat at a large empty table by himself.
The last time he had visited, things had been different.
The cafe had been crowded [which was something he had craved for] as he stumbled through its doors and he had been a jumbled mess of emotions. His eyes puffy from crying, the sniffles from his nose, the way he couldn't speak properly left no one wondering when he sat at the same empty table he was presently at. It had also been midday, and there had been a constant beeping from his phone until he had finally shut it off.
This time, it was 11:30 at night and the cafe was empty except for him and the two baristas on duty. His phone completely silent, and his coffee hot in hands.
Sitting at this too big table, in this too familiar place with too many memories replaying in his head, the man with puffy cheeks began to wonder if their was such a thing as meeting again.
