Love's PhantasmA girl was killed on Saturday morning, 23 August, in an accident along Sunset Way.
According to The Star Daily News, the fatal accident which happened at about 9.43AM smeared the narrow road with bloodstains across its two lanes.
Miss Geena Lee, a 19-year-old student currently pursuing a diploma at a Polytechnic, was on her way to a concert that morning when a van hit her. The van had been turning into Sunset Way, its speed slow. It hit Miss Lee, and she fell under the vehicle when the van went over her body. The van drove for a few metres, dragging Miss Lee’s body with it, swerving across the two-lane road.
Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Eyewitnesses said that the sight of blood on the two lanes, a single death tent, and the strong stench of blood was horrifying.
