Chapter 6-The Boy Who Cried Wolf

The nurse had told JB that he was alright and okay to continue with his day. Although she had warned him that if he did feel even the slightest bit of dizziness he shouldn’t think twice and come straight to the infirmary once again.   *** JB was shocked to be hugged by the one and only Song Il, the girl who never even turned to look at him…If this had been a dream he definitely hadn’t wanted to wake up from it anytime soon. As abruptly as the hug started it ended.   “This is the first time that you don’t push me away…” she commented her cheeks flushing red, as she noticed something that she wasn’t used to.   “Why would I?” He responded puzzled. Why would he, Im Jaebum, push away the girl he has been chasing for so long?   “Jinja….Omo” She couldn’t control her expressions and covered , happily running out of the infirmary before he could even say anything in return.    ***   “She was probably worried from when I fell from the rooftop.” He smiled to himself. “Or ,She probably realized how much I meant to her when I fell off the rooftop…” I guess the plan did work, thanks Jackson.   After his first class JB searched everywhere to see if he could find Song Il….He kept looking through the classroom windows to see if he would catch a glimpse of Song Il at least on the school campus but he had no luck. Then as he made a right turn, suddenly he heard someone call his name…   “JB hyung do you really want to be late for practice again?” Yugeyom called running towards him and grabbing him by the arm.   “Practice?” He asked in confusion.   “Yeah BamBam is going to flip on us if we’re late.” He replied starting to drag JB to the practice room. They had arrived to the practice room minutes later to find nearly everyone except for Jr and Jackson. Mark at a corner practicing his rap, BamBam correcting Youngjae, and Youngjae whining. “We’re Here!” Yugeyom announced while tossing his book bag to the side.   “Good, but where’s-” BamBam began after turning his attention to both boys.   “Sorry I’m late!” the door flipped open, Jr. walking inside a smile on his face.   “Not the first time…” Youngjae mumbled.   “Okay so about the showcase coming up in the end of the month.” BamBam began.   “What showcase?” JB asked confused. Last time he checked he was Got7’s leader, there was no showcase that was known of and Song Il hadn’t paid attention to him…..   “How could you forget it? It’s one month from today!”BamBam grew concerned as he placed the palm of his hand on his forehead. “You must of hit your head really hard to forget the biggest day of the year for us JB…” He said completely ignoring JB’s baffled expression. “Anyway let’s practice so you do remember.” Everybody got into their positions.   “Yah! Your in my spot!" Youngjae pointed out, JB looked as if he were a lost puppy, he couldn’t find his place, he hadn’t been understood what exactly was going on.    “1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8” BamBam repeated continuously everybody moving in unison, well everyone except for JB. JB watched carefully what Jr. who was next to him was doing and tried his best to follow, he was always a few steps behind the rest and he could tell BamBam was getting annoyed as he looked at BamBam’s reflection in the mirror. Then he had bumped into Youngjae, stepped on Mark’s foot, and nearly fell on top of Jr in the process as he attempted to replicate the same step as the rest of the group but with no success. Bambam had stopped the music countless times to tell JB to get his head straight.    JB attempted to catch up with all the guys, but it seemed impossible.
