Chapter 5-The Girl Who Cried Wolf

 

He-Ran was going nuts, she needed somebody to understand her….somebody to tell her ‘yeah I can see what your saying, you’re not weird at all’.....Placing her things into her locker, she then slammed the locker door. I could always go to Jr….he is my best friend anyway. He-Ran noted that even though Jr was acting the opposite from before , he could have still had a soft spot for one of his closest friends. Sure he was a player now, but it didn’t make him any less of a friend. She placed her book bag upon her shoulders and walked out of the school doors, deciding to go to Junior’s dorm. Hopefully he’s there…she thought crossing her fingers.      A few minutes later, she had reached the door of Junior’s dorm and knocked on the door gently. “Who is it?” Jr asked looking through the peep hole on the door. “Oh He-Ran! Wait I’ll open up the door!” you could hear the door being unlocked as the numerous chains were being removed. “Come on in!” He said flinging the door open and gesturing her to enter.   “What is this a prison? What’s with all the locks?…Anyway are you alone?” She looked around to see if she would catch sight out of anybody,but the only thing that she seemed to notice was the messiness of the room. Socks and shoes thrown all over the entrance. I guess it is bearable. Shrugging off any irrelevant thoughts she took a few steps inside.    “Yeah I’m alone, if I would’ve known you were coming, I would have cleaned up a bit.” A smile spread across his face. “But take a seat.” pointing to the black leather couch. “Get comfortable, I’m always happy to have pretty girls here, especially girls as beautiful as you He-Ran.” Rolling her eyes she took a seat after dusting off the couch slightly. I really wanted to avoid this… “So why did you come here today? Not that I mind of course.” he asked sending a flirtatious gaze her way as he took a seat on the couch as well. “Let me guess, was it that you finally stopped wanting to play hard to get huh?"   “Uh….no, I just really needed someone to talk to you know?”   “I’m all ears.” Moving himself a bit closer to He-Ran. “So what did you want to talk about, RanRan?”   “Ran Ran?” she replied puzzled as she shoved herself slightly to her left.   “I’m trying out a new nickname like it?”   “Okay so back to what I was going to talk about…” completely avoiding what Jr had just asked He-Ran tucked her hair behind her ear and continued speaking. “Jr. I have a feeling you maybe the only person that would understand me s-”   “Aww how cute, look at you thinking about me.”   “Junior Listen please...
