Just a short update, it’s about Dara and Chaerin’s past..

LEE RESIDENCE

Mrs. Lee is preparing breakfast for her kids that morning before going to work, her being divorced and a mother and father figure to Seungri and Chaerin, she wants what’s the best for them. Some of her sisters told her that she don’t need to work because of the business they have but she wants to have her own money in case something happen

 

 

“Seungri! Chaerin! Breakfast is ready!” she said, as she calls on her son and daughter, Seungri run towards the kitchen and took a sit while Chaerin slowly walks while carrying her doll

 

 

“Mom, can I go to the park and eat my breakfast there?” little Chaerin asked

 

 

“You can go to the park later after you eat your breakfast..” Mrs. Lee answered

 

 

“But mom, I need to be there. My friends are waiting for me..” Chaerin protested

 

 

“Friends?? What friends? All you have is a couple of birds and rabbits kekekeke..” Seungri butted in, teasing his one and only sister

 

 

“Mom!!!” Chaerin said again, Mrs. Lee looks at Seungri then to her daughter

 

 

“You keep on feeding the birds and the rabbits at the park and you hardly eat anything..” she said

 

 

“Please mom, I promise to you that I’ll eat my food from now on, let me go to the park..” Chaerin pleaded, Mrs. Lee sighs and nods her head, and she then calls one of their maids and prepared the things Chaerin needs to bring at the park

 

 

“Be sure you will eat because if you don’t then I won’t allow you to go to the park again..” Mrs. Lee said

 

 

“Yes mommy! I promise!” Chaerin answered, smiling and holding the little basket her mom gave to her

 

 

“Okay and be careful..”

 

 

“I will mommy..”

 

 

 

A COUPLE OF BLOCKS AWAY

 

PARK RESIDENCE

 

 

“For the nth time Sandara! You need to eat your breakfast first!” Hyun-jin said, she’s the nanny of the park siblings, Sandara and Sun-hee

 

 

“I’ll eat it when I go back but for now, I need to be with my boys!” she answered, she took her ball and run outside the door

 

 

“Aisht Sandara-yah!” Hyun-jin yelled but then she heard a voice saying

 

 

“Let her do what she wants, Mom and Dad doesn’t even care..” Sun-hee said

 

 

 

Chaerin reach the park and settle down under a tree, she lay down a blanket then took out the foods her mom prepared for her. She waits patiently for the birds and the rabbits to come like they used too. Meanwhile, Sandara give some high-five with her boys and they proceed to the park to play some basketball, as they were teasing each other, they saw a girl sitting under a tree, feeding some birds

 

 

“I don’t know why that girl always feeds those birds!” one of the boys said, Sandara looks at her

 

 

“They said she can talk to them..” Paul butted in

 

 

“And you believed that? Stupid!” Sandara answered then her friend Steven throw the ball towards the girl

 

 

“In coming!!” he yelled, she saw that the girl looks at them but it’s too late for her to dodge the ball, she heard her friends laugh at her though she wanted to laugh, she felt pity about her

 

 

“What the hell are you thinking, Steven!” Sandara said to him but Steven can’t answer

 

 

“Go get that ball and apologize to her..” Sandara added

 

 

“But Sandara..” Steven said

 

 

“No but’s! I said go get that ball and say sorry to her!” Steven can’t do anything but to obey her.  He proceed to the girl and took his ball, he then looks at Sandara and say sorry to the girl, he went back to his group and looks at Sandara

 

 

“Done! Now can we go and play some basketball?” he asked, Sandara nods then they starts to walk but then she stops as she sees that the girl is wiping her tears

 

 

Is she crying?

 

 

“Uhm you guys go ahead, I’ll catch up later..” she said, the boys nods their head and continue walking. Sandara walks towards the girl and she’s right, the girl is crying

 

 

“Here, let me help you..” she said as she saw that the ball ruined the foods on the blankets and some hot chocolate spilled on in

 

 

“I don’t need your help..” Chaerin answered but Sandara ignores her and continue on picking up the food

 

 

“Sorry about this..” Sandara said

 

 

“Why are you saying sorry? You guys are always like this, you like bullying some kids like me..” Chaerin answered

 

 

“Well yeah but I’m not bullying you. Sometimes, Steven, a friend of mine, do things against our code. We may bully but we’re just teasing them..”

 

 

“It’s still the same..”

 

 

“Whatever. There! Done!” Chaerin looks at her blanket and saw the food are on the plates again, she then look at the girl sitting beside her

 

 

“You want to join me for breakfast?” she asked her, Dara on the other hand can’t believe what she just heard

 

 

“After my friend threw you a ball and ruined your picnic breakfast, you still want me to join you?” Dara asked

 

 

“Yes, as my thank you to you for helping me..” Chaerin answered, Dara smiled and looks at the food, she hasn’t eaten anything since she woke up

 

 

“Okay, you got yourself a deal..” Dara answered, Chaerin smiled and gives her a plate of food

 

 

“Oh by the way, I didn’t introduce myself to you. I’m Sandara, Park Sandara..” Dara said as she extend her hands towards the girl

 

 

“Nice to meet you Park Sandara, I’m Chaerin.. Lee Chaerin..” Chaerin answered, Dara smiled as they both shake hands and she said

 

 

“Pleasure to meet a cute girl like you..”

 

 

They both continue eating while getting to know each other, Chaerin felt happy that someone is talking to her right now. She don’t have any friends, her Oppa is right. All she have is a couple of birds and some rabbits, Dara on the other hand notice that Chaerin went silent and looks sad

 

 

“Hey Chaerin, are you okay?” she asked her, Chaerin nods her head then sigh

 

 

“I’m just happy that ahm you are here talking to me..” Chaerin answered, Dara didn’t said a word

 

 

“I know you know that I don’t have friends and most of the kids thinks that I’m a weirdo..” she added, Dara felt guilty because she’s one of the kids who thinks Chaerin is a weirdo but now that she’s talking to her, she knows that they are wrong

 

 

“You’re not a weirdo. Maybe they think of you that way because they don’t know you yet. Why don’t you mingle with other kids?” Dara asked her

 

 

“I’m shy and I don’t know. For me, I’m already happy and contented talking to birds and rabbits even if they don’t answer me back kekeke..” Chaerin answered, Dara laugh then looks at Chaerin in a serious way

 

 

“I can be your friend if you want..” Dara said to her, Chaerin looks at her and furrow your eyebrows

 

 

“If you are—“ but Dara cut her off

 

 

“No, I want to be friends with you, for real..” Dara said

 

 

“But why?” Chaerin asked her

 

 

“There’s no reason if you want to be friends with someone, you’ll just feel it inside you..”

 

 

“What about your friends?”

 

 

“Oh forget them. You can join us or if your’re not comfortable with them then I will spend some time here with you..”

 

 

“Hmm is it because of the free food?” Chaerin asked her smiling

 

 

“Yah! I’m not poor ya know!” Dara answered then the other little girl laugh

 

 

“Okay Sandara, friends?..”

 

 

“Friends!” Dara answered

Chaerin wokes up that morning without Sandara by her side, she look around hoping to find her inside their room but she’s not there. She puts on her robe and went outside of her room, she walks towards Darin’s room and knock on the door but like Sandara, Darin is not in her room also

 

 

“If you are looking for your wife and daughter, they are already downstairs..” she heard Seungri’s voice, she turn around and saw her brother smiling

 

 

“Playing again?” Chaerin asked him, Seungri shook his head and say

 

 

“Sandara is preparing some breakfast for us, Darin is her little helper..” Chaerin smiles and walk towards her room

 

 

“She told me to tell you to head downstairs in 10 minutes..” Seungri added

 

 

“Okay Oppa, thank you..” Chaerin answered

 

 

 

 

When she reach the dining room area, she already saw her mother and brother sitting on the chair with Sandara and Darin

 

 

“Good morning Mommy!” Darin greeted her and run towards Chaerin to give her a kiss

 

 

“Good morning too baby.. “ Chaerin answered then proceed to her wife who is smiling at her, she then bend down a little and planted a kiss on Sandara’s lips

 

 

“Good morning my love..” Chaerin said, smiling, Dara on the other hand don’t know how to react, she always lose her mind everytime she gave her a kiss, she then looks at Seungri who is trying not to burst out laughing

 

 

“Ah yeah keke Good morning too..” Dara answered, Chaerin sits beside her while Darin sits beside Dara

 

 

“ You cooked all of these?” Chaerin asked her but Darin is the one who answers Chaerin

 

 

“Yes mommy and I help her! We are very good right?” they all laugh at her then Chaerin winks at her daughter

 

 

“Yes my little one! You and mommy did a very good job preparing our food!” Chaerin answered, she then looks at Sandara and ask

 

 

“I didn’t know you are a good cook? The last time I told you to prepare lunch for me and Darin, you almost burnt the house down..”  Seungri looks at Dara hoping he can answer Chaerin’s question, meanwhile Dara don’t know how will respond to Chaerin then heard a whisper in her ear

 

 

“Baby, it’s been years since I tried to cooked for you and our little daughter. You know how smart I am and I learned how to cook by reading stuff..” Dara answered, Mrs. Lee is surprise on how she respond

 

 

“I guess you are right then. Shall we eat?” Chaerin asked smiling, Dar nods her head and they started eating, she puts food on Darin’s plate then to Chaerin’s plate. Seungri wanted to stops Dara on what she’s doing but he can’t

 

 

“So what’s your agenda for today?” Mrs. Lee asked them

 

 

“Sandara needs to rest for a while then asked Liam to bring my work here, he told me I need to sign some papers..” Chaerin answered

 

 

“How about you Sandara?” Mrs. Lee asked her

 

 

“Ahm I will spend more time with my daughter and wife then if I’m okay, I’ll be back to work..” she answered, Mrs. Lee nodded her head as they continue eating. Once they are finished, Chaerin pulls Darin and bring her to the garden, Dara on the other hand help the maid to clean up the table but Seungri stops her

 

 

“What are you doing, Dara?” Seungri asked her

 

 

“What?” Dara answered

 

 

“You’re not suppose to do things you are used to do. Sandara don’t cook nor help the maid clean up the table. She doesn’t wear that kind of clothes, she has plenty of clothes inside her closet. If you are not comfortable wearing those then tell me and I’ll buy you a new one..”

 

 

“No, it’s okay. I’m sorry but I just want to cook something for Darin..”  Seungri sighs and looks at her again then he remembered something

 

 

“How did you know that it’s been years since Sandara tried to cook something for her wife and daughter?”  Dara looks at Seungri’s back and saw Sandara smiling at her

 

 

‘Just tell her it’s only your instinct, Dara. Seungri is not your worst enemy but she is..’ Sandara said, Dara furrow her eyebrows and turn around, there she saw a girl smiling at them then she walks slowly and stops

 

 

“Hey Unnie, Oppa!” she said, then Dara heard Seungri’s voice

 

 

“Haeun? When did you arrived?” he asked
