Love My Magic
Description
Do fairy tales exist? Will there be a prince charming to sweep her away? Lee Chaerin believed in fairy tales and so much more, until the night of her sixteenth birthday. That night everything changed.
Foreword
"Happy Birthday, Chaerin." Her parents smiled and Chaerin smiled back.
She was sixteen years old now. She was a beautiful girl, who loved to dream of her prince charming coming and whisking her away like in the fairy tales. She was a dreamer. Everything was kings and queens. Princes and princess. Knights and dragons.
She didn't care that to most, at her age, this would be childish.
Why dream of the make believe world? Why not wake up and see the real world?
She would rather live in her fantasies, where she was happy.
Her parents figured it was a phase. She would soon grow up and leave her fairy tales behind.
For now, on her birthdays, they brought her books that told of other worlds. Along with the books, dolls, and movies filled her room. Anything associated with fairy tales, she had.
"Are you enjoying your party, sweetie?" Mrs. Lee asked.
Chaerin nodded. It was nice to have her family and friends together for her special day.
"You got quite a bit of presents this year." Mr. Lee said.
Chaerin laughed, looking over at the table full of her presents. "Yes, it will take me forever to open them."
Her family and friends it seemed had went all out with the present shopping for her sixteenth birthday.
Chaerin enjoyed her party, making sure to mingle with everyone. She took pictures right and left, a smile on her face in everyone. It was soon time to cut the cake and she blushed as everyone gathered around her to sing, "Happy Birthday"!
Before Chaerin knew it, her sixteenth birthday party was over. She said goodbye to her guests and moved around, helping her parents clean the house up.
It took her four trips to get her presents all upstairs. As she was making her last trip, her father stopped her.
"Chaerin-ah, you forgot one." He said.
Chaerin looked at the present in his hand. It was wrapped in bright, gold paper with a black bow on top. It didn't look like it had been opened and Chaerin was sure she had gotten to all her presents.
She thanked her father, grabbing the present, and headed upstairs.
She sat the last pile with the other pile of presents she had received. She sat down on her bed with the golden present in hand.
She wondered who it was from.
There was a tag on the present and she grabbed at it, hoping to see a name.
The tag merely read,
To: Lee Chaerin
From: The Fae Prince
Chaerin blinked. Was this some joke from her parents or friends? Were they now signing her presents as mythical beings?
She shook her head, a small chuckle escaping .
So what had The Fae Prince got her?
She opened the present, slowly and carefully. There was something about how pretty the golden paper was, that made her not want to tear it.
After pulling the paper aside, she was met with a white box.
Now, what was in the box?
She pulled the lid off and gasped.
Inside the box was the most beautiful jewelry box she had ever seen.
She pulled it out, quickly realizing it was also one you could wind up and play music.
It was white and black and on top it had two figures that seemed to be in a dance.
Chaerin looked closer and her eyes widened. The young teen girl dancing in the man's embrace was her.
She dropped the jewelry box and scooted back on her bed.
What the hell?!
Who had sent this to her?
There was no way this gift could be from her parents.
She grabbed the card again, looking at the name of the sender.
Just who was this 'Fae Prince'?
Chaerin sighed, grabbing the music box. She grabbed the white box and sat it back inside.
It was late. She could think more about this in the morning.
She sat the box aside on her nightstand and got up to get ready for bed.
Once done, she turned the lights off and climbed into bed.
Sleep soon came, claiming her in a world of dreams.
The room was dark and the sound of her breathing filled the air.
A shadow covered her wall, before moving across the floor.
It stopped at her bed and from it rose a young man.
He stood, staring at the girl lying in bed.
He looked around the room, his eyes stopping and landing on the nightstand.
He walked towards it, his steps not making a sound.
He stopped at the nightstand, grabbing the white box in his gloved hand.
He opened it, pulling the gift out.
He sat the box to the side, as he looked at the music box.
He ran his fingers over the two figurines.
He smiled, sitting the music box down and walked over to the girl in the bed.
He looked at her face and couldn't help but muse how much of an angel she looked like.
She was so beautiful.
He carefully, as not to wake her, caressed her face.
He soon found himself lowering his face to hers.
His lips ached for a taste.
Just once. That would be enough.
As he was drawing closer, just a breath away, her eyes opened.
He silently cursed.
She blinked, half awake, half asleep.
"Am I dreaming?" Her voice drew him in.
He smiled, gazing at her.
"Yes, Chaerin. This is a dream. It's a good dream."
With that said, he lowered his mouth to hers. He coaxed her to kiss back as he led her to believe this was just a dream.
Just a pleasant dream of passion, because why would a man have snuck into her room to take her innocence away?
It was just a dream.
When they were done and spent, he caressed her stomach while she slept.
"My second gift to you, my love." He whispered, pressing a tender kiss to her belly.
He reluctantly pulled away from her, knowing he had to leave.
Once dressed, he looked at her once more.
"Take care. I'll be watching over you."
One last touch of her lips and he disappeared into the night.
Okay so I know I already have a few stories that are on-going and I need to finish, but I just could not get this out of my mind. I wrote it down a couple of weeks ago, while I was in my English Comp 2 class. This is just the prologue. The first chapter most likely will not be up until the New Year. This is only because I want to try to work on some more chapters for Dirty Little Secret, Meow Bang, and Obsession.
Also I'm not sure about the title of this one. I have it as 'Love My Magic' but if I think of something better, I'm going to change it. Another thing this will be a Skydragon & Skytempo fic. I hope you all enjoy that.
Also let me know who you think the man is that visited Chaerin during the night? Is it Jiyong or Seunghyun? I would love to hear your thoughts.
