Never Too Easy

Description

I had this dream, something that seemed to have taken place a couple of years ago. It was a day when the air was filled with the serenity of spring's first bloom. We were about eight or nine years old that time who were just heading home from school. "Hyosang, wait up!" I called out to him but he was just too fast. I guess he had too much carbs for breakfast that he had so much energy to spare. Or was it because of the sunshine this season brought? Eitherway, he was on the other side of the road and I, on the other with the sign flashing a bright red standing human being in front of me. I waited and waited until the last of all vehicles, a long tourist bus, has passed by before the light turned to a green walking human being.

"Seokjin do you want to know something?"
"Hm? What is it?"
"The time the stoplight stays in one color would be a minute and six hundred-eighteen milliseconds."

I just stared at him like the way I stare at the cherry blossom petals falling down during its first bloom on springtime. Partly because Hyosang makes me feel so many good things all at once, and partly because of the amazing facts he randomly blurts, and partly because he always has something to say in every situation. That's Jin Hyosang's charm.

"One point six hundred eighteen. Also known as the golden ratio, the golden proportion. Phi. It keeps the order in the world. You know, even if we part ways in the future, I'm sure the world would find ways to bring us together just as how it has it's natural order. The phi."

That was what he said and continued walking with that innocent smile on his face. It was one of those statements I don't quite understand. But I know that the day of our parting is drawing near, although no concrete evidence has smacked me in the face. It needs no evidence. It happens when you get too attached to someone, you just know.

I watch him as he walks and he fades in the blinding brightness of the sunlight, and I was brought back to the real world.

Foreword

Surprise surprise!! Another 2jin for the shippers out there!

And yes if the initial theme sounds familiar, I was inspired and somehow incorporated the book The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and the Japanese animated movie by Makoto Shinkai, 5 Centimeters Per Second.

PAIRINGS: 2Jin, VJin, and KiJoon

Disclaimer: I own none of the characters in the fic, and if there is a fic with a similar storyline, it is purely coincidental.

Have fun reading!
