Jaerim, was walking around the island to look for his boat that was washed away because of the bad weather.

From a far he saw something. A body. But he was not really sure about it. He ran towards it to confirm if it really was a body. He was mesmerized on what he saw.

Jearim "what a beautiful lady, just like a mermaid."

It was So Eun that he found out.

He carried her until he reached the village chief's house named Joonpyo. 

He told him that he found the girl near the shore.

The village chief Joonpyo called out his wife Jandi and asked her to call the village's healer named Soonkyu.

Upon seeing the girl Soonkyu said "she will not last long. She'll die because of the injury sustained in the head".

Jaerim was sad when he knew that but something inside of him told him that he can't give up. He said "I'll take care of her don't worry she'll recover".

Days passed and everyone in the village was losing hope that So Eun will wake up but not Jaerim. He continued taking care of her.

Until one day she woked up.
