“Take a seat and make yourself at home”

Luhan walked through the large wooden doors into the living room and awkwardly looked around the rather nice looking house. The walls were warm beige with matching tiles, upon the center of the living room was a luxurious white couch with scattered cushions of elaborate patterns. A rather large television was propped up opposite the couch whilst what seems to be Rembrandt-esque painting hung over a fireplace. All-in-all the house exuded style and grace.

As Luhan sat down on the couch he continued to stare at the room in awe as he waited for Sehun. Gazing at the fine crystals, which were placed upon the mantle until his eyes fell upon a family portrait of Sehun with his father, in fact, all the pictures on display were only of him and his father. Curiosity crept upon Luhan as he wondered on the lack of pictures of Sehun’s mother, however his thoughts were quickly interrupted by Sehun’s return.

“Here we are” Sehun said as he laid out a tray of tea and cookies. “Red tea and cookies, my father brought them from his last trip to China, but they call it black tea.”

“Oh, thanks” Luhan grabbed the tea took a sip and quickly winced at the robust flavor “it’s very strong” he said before quickly stuffing his face with a cookie to rid himself of the flavor.

“I guess you must only like sweet things” chuckled Sehun.

“So is your father in? I should greet him,” Luhan asked

“No, he’s on another business trip, archeologist so he travels the world and I follow him, but he had to go to Egypt for a short trip so I’m here all alone”
