A love story version II

"Are you ready baby?" I ask my brother. He's now six, and I just realized I'm already twelve. It's been six years now since mom brought us here in LA. I can still remember how happy I was when I was still in Korea and how sad I was when mom decided to bring us here, but now I realized that she made a right decision, the thing that maybe made her sad but made me proud of her.

My brother nods and smiles at me. He is perfectly like daddy. He's so cute and he's now big boy. Mom raised us and never once I heard her complained. She's perfect, and I am happy for her now, so as I am for daddy.

"Daddy? Where are you?" A kid is close to crying. She's been waiting since she woke up. She's wearing the pajamas she received from her dad and she is so excited to tell him that she'll be the Annie in a stage play. The day ends and it's already nine o'clock in the evening but still her dad didn't came. This is not the first time it happens, but never once she felt mad to her dad

"Baby...." Suddenly, a woman named Tiffany, wearing her white night gown was about to walk straight to the kitchen to get her youngest child's milk when she saw her eldest on the couch, looking outside the window, like she always do on the day that her dad promised her

"Mom?" The kid by the name Aleyna look at her mom in sad face. It's the last saturday of the month, so that means, that her father will come now. Aleyna is now six years old and her brother is still nine month old. Suppose to be their dad is there with them everyday but no, she can only see her dad every last weekend of the month and that's made her sad. They can only spend time together, two days a month

"Baby, dad might come tomorrow, let's sleep now" Tiffany said and the girl sighs walking to her, she raise her arms and Tiffany smiles and carry her

"Aigoo, so heavy" she whispers and kisses the girl on the lips and the girl snuggles on her mom's neck. She is perfectly like her. She's kind and resfectful, and she is a loving sister to her brother

"Let's just wait for daddy tomorrow okay? I'm sure he'll be here" Tiffany said looking at her daughter in the eye. Even she's not sure, she just want to make her child feel fine

"Okay mommy" Aleyna said. Tiffany tucks her child beside the boy and kisses her forehead

"Mommy, can I wear the dress I wore this morning again, tomorrow?" Aleyna said making her mom smile. Tiffany kisses the kid's nose and nods

"Good night my princess" she whispers. Aleyna smiles and pokes her mom's nose

"Good night too my wondermom" she giggles and closes her eyes

Tiffany walks to her side of bed and she must admit she's not feeling well now. She is so disappointed with her, husband? Boyfriend? no... Partner. She's so mad at him for this again. This is not the first time that he didn't come on the day that is suppose for their kids

She knows, she has no right, but for her as well, just for their kids, he must be more responsible

Tiffany closes her eyes and tucks her children into her hug. She just want to make them feel that even its just them, they can still be happy.

"Aleyna baby, you take a bath now~" Tiffany said louder to make her child, inside their room hears her. She's busy making their breakfast and she is planning to bring the kids to her friend again so Aleyna will forget that its already sunday

"Mommy, I am still playing~ with Kyungsan" the kid whined. Her mom really is that deciplinarian. Take a bath first, eat first, study first, clean first before playing making her miss her dad sometimes. the one who only spoil her

"No baby! Take a bath now" she said it loud and clear and continue cleaning. She didn't hear any reply anymore

"Aigoo~" she is talking to herself, when suddenly, she felt pair of arms wraps around her waist. She close her eyes. She knows who is there and instead of jumping in joy, she is now pissed

"Talk to your child now!" she said it with anger. The man behind her sighs, and buries his face on her neck
