Imperfect

Description

imperfect |ɪmˈpəːfɪkt|

adjective

not perfect; faulty or incomplete

Imperfect. The only way to describe Kang Yejin's life. Yejin's prosperous, influential family considers her a disgrace. She wasn't favoured person in school, because she would always come second in sports, academics and music because of her alluring, sharp-witted, popular older sister, Kang Hyelin and because of that she always got bullied because they think that she was adopted because she was nothing like her perfect sister. After her sister graduated, she thought it could be a chance to prove to her parents that she too, can be like her older sister. Life decided to play with Yejin when the new school school boy Oh Sehun entered in Anyang University. Through Sehun she discovered that life was just like a piano, the white keys represent happiness,  and the black keys showed sadness, but as you go through  life's journey, you realize that the black keys make music too.

Foreword

Authors Note

I was a victim of bullying, and peer pressure from my parents who want me to be exactly like my sister. I hated school, I always wanted to skip school or not show up because I was scared of my my bullies, they would treat me as if I'm some toy, they would laugh at me because I was different and they said I was weird. And then I found my 5ever friend, (who also intorducd me to kpop, hell yeah!), she helped me see the glass as half full instead of half empty. Now that I'm all mature (not really), I forgave my bullies because they changed. I hope my story inspires you guys to remember that being different isn't wrong, being different is okay, not having the same opinion as others is also okay, but always remember that you should respect each other.

To the bullied:

Maybe now, if you are being bullied,  you'd feel like giving up or you feel like you want to end. no. don't. you have to finish your story. Yes, I remember evey one of my bullies, yes they talked bad about me, made fun of me, and so on, but always remember that bullies are the most insecure people in the world, maybe they get bullied at home or feel pressured, so they result to bullying. Don't end your life beacuse people change, and you  should be able to see your bully as a changed person, alive.
