Hymn of the Wind

“…and just like the cool breeze, you drew me in close to you.”

The wind had always guided me in whatever I do, I don’t know why.

Perhaps it has something to do with the transparent boy in my dreams, the one whom I call ‘Wind’. The name I gave him pretty much explains his entirety. He is like the wind. I really can’t see him, but I can feel his presence—just like every time I’m experiencing conflict—advising me, reassuring me, guiding me.

And I always followed the wind without hesitation.

Usually, the outcomes of my actions were good things. But this time was different.

I was tossed in a world I do not know of, a world full of magic and war. I tried to live with them until I can find my way out, but as I interacted with them and met new people, I found myself not wanting to leave.

For their world hides something: secrets which hold the key for me to know  everything—my existence, my past, and things about myself which even I didn’t discern.

But most importantly, the main reason keeping me rooted to their unknown and dangerous world is because I met him.

I met my Wind.
