It just has to be the 6th of January somewhere in the world.

Posting can begin when January the 6^th begins in the earliest time zone, and can continue while it remains the 6^th of January somewhere in the world.

For those who want to keep it simple, you can just post when it's the 6^th of January in your country ;)

How to tag

Be sure to tag the story with the tag bigbangfestival

And remember that it doesn't replace the bigbang tag, so it might be a good idea to tag with that one too (though that is totally in your own hands *^^*). It might also be a good idea to tag the story with the corresponding pairing name (if that applies), as well as the genre of the story, and perhaps the names of the main characters. Tagging helps readers find your story ;)

How to not forget to post

I will update the festival with a “Yay! It has begun!”-post on the festival day, so if you are subscribed to it, you will get an update alert as a reminder ;)

How to create a link to the festival with the banner

1. Right click on the banner and choose copy image URL

2. Go into edit forewords of your story, and choose the image icon (looks like a painting of a mountain), you should get a pop-up window called 'image properties'.

3. Paste the link into the box labeled URL

4. Copy the link to the festival - http://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/839184

5. Push the tab called 'link' in the image properties and paste the festival link in the box labeled URL

6. Press OK

(the image properties box should disappear and the banner should appear in your forewords, if it does not or there is something unclear, let me know and I'll try to help)
