“Jeon Ji Hyun or Kim Tae Hee?”

“That’s a very tricky one. If I could push my luck, I would’ve gone for both. But if I had to pick one, it would be Jeon Ji Hyun all the way. The woman’s got legs to die for,” my ‘Liar Game’ co-star, Lee Sang Yoon, remarked explicitly, making me scoff in the process as I buried my nose in the latest issue of Elle Girl Korea. Caught up in immense boredom during our break from filming, he decided to engage in what they called “ideal type world cup” with our other co-star, Jo Jae Yoon.

Jae Yoon sunbae guffawed. “Damn, I’d tap that body any day of the week…”

My jaw dropped upon hearing his provocative remark. “Sunbae! You’re engaged for crying out loud!” I closed the magazine and butted in.

He turned to me, looking extremely amused, and raised a hand in defense. “Wait, I haven’t finished yet. I was going to say I’d tap that body any day of the week IF I were still single. Happy now, So Eun-ah?” he asked merrily as he patted me on the head.

I rolled my eyes and watched Sang Yoon oppa throw his head while laughing uncontrollably.

“No,” I griped. “You guys were acting like total byuntaes. I am deeply offended for the female race,” I stressed straightforwardly, albeit humorously, and crossed my arms.

Sang Yoon oppa glanced at me fondly, “Has the pure Nam Da Jung rubbed off on So Eunnie? Where did the fierce lady on ‘We Got Married’ go?” he teased.

I raised an eyebrow and threw him a fierce look. “Yah oppa, I’m a woman who knows where to draw the line,” I muttered.

People may get the impression that I didn’t hold any qualms about stuff like skinship after seeing how I don’t always hold back from Jae Rim oppa’s advances on ‘We Got Married’, but truth be told, it was all part of how the show runs to spice things up.

“And for the record, you guys are grown ahjussis so stop acting like a bunch of teenage boys who can’t control their raging hormones!” I fumed.

The two men looked at each other and burst into unruly laughter while I just remained planted on my spot with a wry expression on my face.

When the laughter died down a little, Jae Yoon sunbae spoke, “After witnessing your quirks on ‘We Got Married’, I didn’t think you’d still be this naïve,” he remarked, facing me directly while looking me in the eye, “Listen to me So Eun, haven’t you ever heard of the saying ‘Boys will be boys’?”

“But like I’ve said, you’re not boys. You’re full grown men,” I insisted.

A smirk formed on Sang Yoon oppa’s lips, “Doesn’t matter. Go take a look at the haraboji over there,” He pointed toward an elderly man across the filming site. When I turned to look, I found the haraboji feasting his eyes on the exposed smooth, creamy legs of a young woman. Gross.

I grimaced. “Okay, enough said. I get your point,” I stated, getting all the nasty visuals out of my head. What I witnessed was more than enough to make me sick to my stomach.

Jae Yoon sunbae shook his head, his lips forming into a grin. “Stop planting malicious images in So Eunnie’s head, Sang Yoon-ah. Look at what you’ve done to the poor girl,” he accused.

“Look who’s talking. You aren’t any better than me, hyung,” Sang Yoon oppa snapped back and turned to me, “Anyway, why don’t we get to know our So Eunnie better then?”

Baffled, I knitted my eyebrows together. “Eh?”

“So, Hyun Bin or Jo In Sung?” Sang Yoon oppa asked curiously.

I snickered, “Hyun Bin.”

“Oh, this would be interesting,” Jae Yoon sunbae interjected as he crossed his legs, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

Sang Yoon oppa continued with the interrogation. “Hyun Bin or Won Bin?”

It didn’t take me a second to respond. “Won Bin.”

“Well then. Won Bin or Lee Min Ho?”

“Won Bin.”

“Won Bin or Kim Soo Hyun?”

“Won Bin.”

“Whoa, seems like Won Bin-ssi remains uncontested. I’ll give you a hard one. Won Bin or Song Jae Rim?”

I hit him lightly on his arm while laughing. “Won Bin.” Mian, Jae Rim oppa. I could already imagine his jealous rage if he knew about this.

“Won Bin or Lee Sang Yoon?”

I groaned. “Is that a trick question, oppa? I’m sorry to disappoint you, but my answer remains unchanged. Won Bin.”

He hooted. “I knew you’d say that. Let’s see if a good-looking fellow will make you change your mind. Let me see...” he contemplated while his chin dramatically. “…how about one of my past co-stars. Oh I know.”

Smirking, I raised my eyebrows, challenging him to bring it on.

“Won Bin or…” he paused, examining my face, “…Kim Bum?”

I remained calmly planted on my spot, not giving any hints of distress. I was about to respond when suddenly… “Let’s go, guys! Get your butts over here! Break time’s over,” the PD commanded.

Flashback: 3 years ago (2011)

“Don’t you dare change the channel, Kim Bum! If you do, you’re gonna regret it,” I playfully warned my boyfriend as we cuddled on the couch in my living room while Won Bin’s 2010 thriller ‘The Man from Nowhere’ was airing on one of the local channels.

“Just about how many times have you played that scene, So Eun-ah? Let’s watch something else. Watching Won Bin for the last couple of hours is getting painfully boring. How could you put me through this torture? If I see more of that face, I think I’m going to puke,” Bum complained.

I scoffed at his silliness. “Excuse me, but there’s no way you can put ‘Won Bin’ and ‘boring’ in the same sentence. Jealous much?” I teased in an excessively sugary tone.

“Hmph. Why would I be jealous of a grown man whose face makes him look like he’s stuck in his teens? Come on, is that even normal? Is he afflicted with some age-defying illness or something? That is seriously alarming. He should go have himself checked,” he expressed his disdain callously, his face scrunched up in disgust. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at his childishness.

He was about to grab the remote control next to me when Won Bin graced the TV screen once again, from the waist up, revealing his bare torso and toned abs. With much agility, I reached out for the remote control before he did. I stuck out my tongue at him before I turned my attention back to the screen and gaped at those chiseled, well-defined abs. My moment with Won Bin was unfortunately cut short when a pair of hands blocked my vision.

“Yah! What do you think you’re doing, Bum-ah?!” I yelled.

Keeping his hands on both of my eyes, I felt his hot breath on my neck before he whispered sultrily, “That’s enough, So Eun-ah. Heck, I think you’ve seen more than enough for my liking. Now tell me, what does he have that I don’t?”

I didn’t attempt to remove his hands from my eyes, deciding that two could play this game. “Well, for starters, he’s got killer abs,” I said frankly.

He grunted. I could bet my money that he was shaking his head. “For your information, I’m working on getting mine. Just you wait, Kim So Eun. I’ll make you drool your heart out.”

I tried to hold back my laughter, yet ended up failing as I was suddenly thrown in nonstop fits of giggles.

Sensing my moment of weakness, his domineering side took over. “I’ll be man enough to admit that he does surpass me in some aspects,” he whispered seductively. “But if there’s something you must know, my dear So Eun, it would be that there are a lot of things I can do that he can’t. And when I say a lot, I mean A LOT.”

I knew this wouldn’t bode well for me. Although I was unable to see, I could sense that his face was only a few inches away from mine. I turned and drew my face closer. “Oh really? Enlighten me then, Mr. Kim,” I replied in an equally seductive tone.

“Like this,” he said as he pecked me on the lips.

“That’s it? I thought you can do better than that,” I dared.

“I was just getting warmed up, Ms. Kim. Patience is a virtue. I
