A definition of a ‘reality fanfic’ is a fanfic that’s based on what we see of the characters now. For example do you think a fanfic where Seunghyun is the owner of a massive company who falls for ordinary boy Jiyong, could actually happen in real life? I doubt neither seunghyun or Jiyong is going to somehow become ordinary again on this planet. Now, I’m not saying I have anything against these fanfics, infact they are always very interesting and an awesome read. But, reality fanfics give you that shaky, goosebumpy feeling of hope, knowing that what your reading might actually happened before or is happening right now, in reality.
