Taeyeon was sitting down in the Gryffindor table, getting breakfast while she was already in her quidditch attire.

“Good luck today!” Exclaimed every Gryffindor that passed by and she just smiled politely at them, she was the captain, everyone had their eyes on her, expecting her to make the team amazing.

And she’s been working hard to meet those expectations, but she couldn’t help but to be slightly scared.

Today was the first game of the season, the first game was Gryffindor VS Slytherin and she had to admit…          Jessica was one heck of a rival, she’ll look lazy by just standing on a side of the field but then suddenly she’ll spot the snitch and she’ll catch it, just like that.

It was going to be a hard game.

Arms wrapped themselves around her and she immediately knew who it was.

Her, finally, official girlfriend.

“Good Morning Pany.” Taeyeon said with a smile as they girl took a seat beside her, pecking her in the lips and eye smiling at her.

“Good Morning, Taetae” Tiffany said, Taeyeon’s smile mirrored her own, they couldn’t take their eyes away from each other.

Taeyeon leaned in and kissed her, their lips grazing each other as they moved slowly, Taeyeon’s left hand was placed on the girl’s knee, discreetly inching upwards as they kept going until…

“You have no shame, do you?” A voice said and caused them to break apart, suddenly realizing they were not alone, in fact, besides their seven friends who were sitting alongside them in the Gryffindor table, not minding at all that they were from different houses, many spectators, specially guys, have had their eyes glued to their not so subtle display of affection.

“And I thought that Yuri and Jessica had gotten used to displaying affection publicly a bit too fast,” Yoona said as she placed food on her plate. “You literally have four days together and you already get off publicly.”

“You’re just jealous you have no one to snog.” Tiffany said as she blushed, placing food on her own plate to distract herself from the embarrassment she felt now that she was aware of how many eyes were on them while they were kissing.

“Changing the topic, how are you and Yuri holding, Jessica?” Asked Hyoyeon with a teasing  tone in her voice.

“Why wouldn’t we be?” Yuri asked as Jessica leaned on her shoulder with her eyes closed.

“You know, today is Slytherin versus Gryffindor.” Sooyoung continued matter-of-factly.

“Yeah, so?” Jessica asked, her eyes still closed. “Both teams have the same chance to win and neither of us are sore losers, so we’re okay, no matter who wins or lose, we’re going on a date to Hogsmaede tomorrow.”

“Oh, that sounds nice, how about we go tomorrow too?” Taeyeon asked Tiffany, while the latter nodded.

And the couples then immersed themselves in a conversation the other five , or at least four out of five, didn’t care to be part of.

“So…” Sunny started. “Are you guys going to watch the game?”

“Not me.” Hyoyeon said. “Got stuff to do.”

“In the forbidden forest, I assume.” Seohyun said and Hyoyeon shrugged, her friends were well aware of her constant visits to the forbidden forest, but have always been kind enough not to ask her what was she doing there.

“I’m totally watching it.” Yoona said. “Want to see if Yuri would be brave enough to throw a bludger at Jessica when she’s after the snitch.

“Yuri has never been able to do that and you know it.” Sooyoung said as she ate her food. “I’m watching it too, Sunny and I will be on the Ravenclaw Slytherin bleachers.”

“When did you tell Sunny about it?” Sunny asked, unconsciously speaking in third person. “Let alone, when did you ask her?”

“I don’t need to ask.” Sooyoung said as she smirked at Sunny, the latter’s hair turned slightly pink at that. “And I’m telling you now.”

The short metamorphmagus started mumbling to herself as she continued eating, but never refused anyway.

Yoona turned to Seohyun, wondering if it would be okay to ask her to be with her on the Hufflepuff bleachers, but just as she was about to ask, a figure she had learn to hate appeared behind the younger one.

“Joohyun.” He called out, his pronunciation quite better than the last time she heard him, bright smile and charming eyes that could only focus on Seohyun.

“Hello Michael,” Seohyun said politely. “You’re pronunciation is getting much better.”

“Well, I’ve been practicing a lot.” He said and then widened his eyes. “It’s not like I stay up late practicing how to say your name or anything, not like I murmur your name like a million times before going to sleep, not at all, just… spending time with you, makes me practice, yeah, it’s that.” He said, his cheeks covered in red and Yoona could only mutter ‘creep’ as she ate, her eyes firm on him.

“Okay.” Seohyun said, her eyes showed that she had not noticed his slip or that she chose to ignore it.

“Anyways,” He started. “I wanted to, you know, since you have friends on both teams that play today, and that you are quite close to them in fact and you know, since-“ Before he could continue Seohyun cut him off.

“You’re rambling,” She said with a gentle smile. “It’s just me, you can ask whatever.”

“It’s you, that’s what makes me nervous.” He said, Seohyun looked at him with confused eyes and Yoona wanted to stand up from her sit and punch the guy.

He was going to ask her to watch the game with him, she had to do something.

“Want to watch the game with me?” He said in one breath, eyes everywhere but where Seohyun was and his blush was brighter than ever.

“I’d love to,” Seohyun said and Yoona wondered if her sudden lack of appetite had anything to do with it. “But I was planning to watch the game with Yoona on Hufflepuff’s bleachers.”

Yoona’s eyes widened, had she heard correctly?

“Oh, then, see you later.” He said with a small smile before he left.

“We’re… watching it together?” Yoona asked suddenly.

“You don’t want to? I’m sorry I just figured-” Seohyun started, panic clear in her voice.

“No, no, that’s not what I meant!” Yoona exclaimed. “Of course I’d like to see the game with you, I’d really like to, I wanted to ask you but he beat me to it.”

Seohyun smiled in relief as she looked at Yoona directly in the eyes, as the latter watched those innocent eyes she couldn’t help but forget anything else in the world existed, as everything seemed to melt away.

“Do I have something on my face?” Seohyun suddenly asked, acutely aware of Yoona’s gaze.

“Besides Yoona’s lovesick gaze, nothing.” Hyoyeon said teasingly.

Yoona was brought back to reality with that, the one where her friends were still there and where staring at Seohyun so shamelessly was weird.

“Sorry, was thinking about something.” Yoona said with a blush.

“About having babies with Seohyun or something like that?” Sooyoung asked now and all of them laughed.

Everything seemed happy, how bad it wasn’t going to last long.

The game was already going on, Gryffindor was on the lead with 30 points scored already while Slytherin had none so far, every attempt the chaser made to score on Gryffindor’s goals were stopped by Taeyeon and whenever the beaters sent a bludger her way Yuri was fast enough to send it away.

Jessica was silently searching for the snitch as she was watching everything from the side.

Gryffindor scored again and she couldn’t help but want to choke her keeper right now, she took a deep breath, if she found the snitch and caught it, her team would still have the chance to win, she didn’t have anything to worry about until Gryffindor scored more than 150 points, which she hopes never happens.

A small glint caught her eyes and she flew quickly that way, searching for the snitch frankly only to be disappointed.

A scream she had heard before suddenly pierced her ears, causing her to turn around, only to find Yuri flying away from the two beaters from Slytherin and the other Gryffindor beater, the three of them were flying around to catch up with the bludgers and beat them all in Yuri’s way.

“What the bloody hell!” Yuri yelled, as one of the bludgers hit her in the arm, apparently breaking it, Jessica flinched and tears appeared in the corners of her eyes as if she was the one feeling the pain, watching Yuri in pain made Jessica feel pain.

Maybe it was because she loved her.

She noticed many faces in the crowd seemed to be confused by the attitudes of the beaters; it made no sense as in why they would be attacking her girlfriend.

She wanted to fly over there and tell them to stop, but they were in the middle of a game and she had to act professional… then again, she was the captain and it was her duty to placate such conducts, right?

 She quickly flew in that direction and noticed something odd from the beaters, their pupils were gone and their irises had turned turquoise.

Seohyun had mentioned something about that being a sign that someone was cursed.

“She flew to Gryffindor’s goals where she noticed Taeyeon was having a hard time focusing on the game while she saw Yuri fly away from their beaters.

“They’re cursed!” Jessica exclaimed. “They’re attacking my Yuri because they’re cursed! What are we going to do?”

“We need to knock them out!” Taeyeon exclaimed.

Jessica, out of panic as she noticed Yuri almost fell from her broom due to her lack of capacity to hold with both hands, flew quickly to where her teammates were and tackled them, using her speed as her weapon and caused them to crash into each other and get knocked.

“That was fast,” Yuri said as she held her injured arm. “Thought it would be harder than that.” She said with a bitter laugh, she was in pain.

During this amount of time Slytherin had managed to tie with Gryffindor, since the little leader was a bit too distracted.

But just as Jessica was about to ask Yuri if she was okay, she noticed the snitch flying not too far away from them.

“Go for it.” Yuri said, tears staining her cheeks from the pain but a smile present. “This is still a game.”

And with a small smile Jessica flew quickly in the direction of the snitch before another figure appeared beside her.

“Taeyeon told me you had a keen eye, that I should keep an eye on you at all times, she wasn’t wrong.” Rachel said as she sped up, inching closer to the snitch.

“Just because you keep an eye on me it doesn't mean you’ll win over me.” Jessica said as they turned, following the snitch that was almost at arm length.

“No, but this will.” She said before she kicked Jessica’s broom and then sped up, Jessica lost her balance for a second but kept going.

She was going to win.

She decided to take a risk and she launched herself out of the broom, to where the snitch was, hoping to catch it.

When her hands grabbed the snitch and she fell to the ground, she couldn’t fight the winning smile and how the pain from falling from a few meters caused to her back.

She enjoyed her triumph by smirking at a fuming Rachel that seemed to want to kill her with her eyes, bathing herself in the cheers she heard from the bleachers for a second before she ran to where her girlfriend landed and was later taken to the infirmary.

She won the game but she didn’t actually feel good about it for long enough to actually enjoy it.

I'm so sorry, I never update on time T.T  I arrived home at 10:00 pm from work, will that make you spare me because I actually updated on Sunday (It's 00:30 over here)? This chapter is exactly 2000 words long so it's longer than the other ones, this helps too, right? xD

Hope it was cool, I tried to make it cool, but I'm not really cool so I can't tell lol
