Please Don't Lose Me
Description
Genetically mutated. Freaks. Monsters. Sunggyu had heard them all. He first got his powers at the age of four. Or so he had been told. The now twenty year old was now pretty much the head of his sector of the GCPA (Gifted Child Protection Agency). Although Sunggyu wasn’t sure why it was called an agency when it felt more like a prison camp.
Foreword
“I’m going to take a vacation to Hawaii one day.” Woohyun muttered looking at second oldest standing at the edge of the plane. “Don’t say useless things.” Sunggyu muttered, his fingers drawing lines over his gloved palm trying to warm his fingers. “You only say that because you don’t want me to leave.” Woohyun’s smile calms his nerves. “Sometimes you really .” Sunggyu smiled back and Hoya just rolled his eyes next to him.
Sunggyu could feel the burning on his side before Myungsoo stood to cover Hoya’s hand in ice making Dongwoo chuckle from his position as look out. Hoya makes no move to attack Myungsoo, he could read the mood well enough to know that now was not the time. Sungyeol hadn’t come back yet and the small group was full of tension in the dark night.
“Don’t think it Myung.” Woohyun whispered as the ice male shifted his weight from foot to foot. Before he could respond a puff of smoke appeared in the middle of the room and Sungyeol wasn’t alone. Sungjong stood next to him, gun firmly planted to his temple. “You’ve got 5 seconds to tell me why I shouldn’t kill him.” the youngest said darkly staring at the small group he used to call friends.
All of them turned to look at Sunggyu, but he never wanted to be the leader. He didn’t know what to say. “3 seconds.” Sungjong said clicking off the safety. Woohyun put his hand on Sunggyu’s shoulder. “They will kill you if you go back. And you know it.” Woohyun said channeling what Sunggyu wanted to say.
Sungjong gazed at them a moment more before dropping the beaten Sungyeol to the ground. “You could have stopped me if you really wanted.” Sungjong said putting the gun in it’s holster on his hip. “We’re all dead anyway.”
