Crash & Die

Description

His eyes haunted her sleep, not that she got much sleep to begin with, but she could see every last aspect of his eyes, haunting her every step. He was everything that she couldn't stand. His hands held no warmth, not joy, nothing but pain. The pain of death. The pain of life. The pain of everything. She could feel it all in his gaze, and she could feel it in his touch.

And yet, without him, she couldn't feel anything at all.

And sometimes, even if it's pain, it's good to feel something.

Foreword

"You are just gonna let the girl's soul go?"

Zelo glanced to the side, watching as the girl's arms tightened around her father's frame. Zelo found himself lingering on her smile, watching as it filled her eyes and radiated around her every movement. He found his fingers twitching at his side, and he found himself unable to finish her off.

Zelo didn't answer, and the skin around his palm was marked with blackness.

He tilted his head to the side, his fist clenching as he hid the discoloration of his palm. "What difference would a few more years make?"
