Sweet. The coffee was sweet. The coffee, which normally tasted bitter, was sweet today. Maybe it was because you were doing nothing today and you were having a well-earned rest. Maybe it was because you didn’t have to cook anything and even this coffee was from the shop down the road. Maybe it was because tomorrow, you were going to go to a party with your friends and you couldn’t wait. Or maybe it was because of-

“Did you only just wake up?” You asked, teasing him a little as he rubbed his eyes and gave a stifled yawn. He plopped right down next to you on the couch and took a swig of your coffee.

“Mmm, nice.” He commented, taking another sip and putting it back down. He turned to you and gave you a sheepish grin, all teeth showing. “And when did you wake up so early?” He asked you in return.

“I’ve been up for quite a while now… you must’ve been really tired Baekhyun. I thought I would wake you up when I slipped out of the room.” You smiled back, touching his hair back into place. He shook his head a little and pouted but soon looked back up to you through the black rimmed glasses he was now wearing.

“Eh, I was a little tired,” he grinned and took another sip of your coffee. You felt almost bad for him: he was a busy man- always practising for his job and coming home late, barely eating anything due to the strict diet of the company. But you couldn’t really complain- it w
