Rumours have been buzzing around in the K-pop industry that there will be a new girl group to be released out into the world, under SM Entertainment. Despite the recent debut of four-membered girl group Red Velvet, words of the mystery girl group have still been circulating.

[UPDATE 1] - SM Entertainment has confirmed the rumours surrounding the mystery girl group. CEO, Kim Youngmin, confirmed these rumours during a press conference earlier today, "We are in fact releasing a new girl group. The debut date has yet to be decided but we have everything else nearly ready. We will be revealing pictures of the girls shortly, please look forward to this."
