Yuri's POV

"Ring! Ring!"

I reached out my hand for the alarm clock and stopped the annoying ringing.

Groaning, I fumbled through the stuff on my table to find my handphone.

'Wake up, sica!!' I typed slowly and sent her the wake-up text.

I dragged my feet to the toilet and had my shower.

Why do I feel so tired? Must be all the running yesterday.

Sica, you better wake up. I don't want to have to go your house and drag you out of your bed.

As soon as I step out of the toilet, I checked my phone for replies.

None.

Knew it. There is not a Monday that I don't have to wake you up myself.

I sighed and got ready for school. Good thing school starts at 10am on Mondays.

...

Knock. Knock.

"Aunty, Sica have not wake up yet." I complained to Sica's mom as she opened the door.

"Aish. That girl never learns. Have you had your breakfast, Yuri dear?"

"No, Aunty. I'm not hungry."

"Yuri ah. Eat more. You look like you lost weight."

"I will, Aunty." I smiled and walked up to Sica's room.

It's easy to remember her room.

Her white painted door, which has two white rectangle frosted windows covering half of it and has alphabet stickers making up her name pasted on it, stands out among the other plain brown doors.

She had asked to change her door on her 14th birthday.

Stealthily, I opened the door and peeped into her room.

Her body was curled up and hidden under her pink blanket.

My smile grew wider. It happens everytime I see her.

She never fails to put a smile on my face.

I tiptoed to her bedside and then jumped onto the bed, yelling at her to wake up.

I had to shook her body a few hundred times before she finally opened her eyes. She is a really heavy sleeper.

"Okay! I'm awake already!" she frowned at me.

"Don't be angry..." I pouted .

"Don't pout." she jutted my head and dragged herself to the toilet.

"Hurry up! You don't want to keep me waiting right?" I shouted as I watched her turn around the corner in her room.

"Okay, okay!" I heard her screaming, followed by a door bang.

While waiting for her, I tidied her bed and helped her pack her school bag.

'Beep. Beep.' her handphone vibrated.

I took it to see who texted her.

As soon as I read the notification, a sudden surge of feelings hit me.

My heart sank. My shoulders droop. My chest felt heavy.
