Fashionably Incompatible
Description
Financially unstable and desperately needing the money it would bring, the Park’s signed a contract that would drastically improve both their lives and their daughter’s. Only when Sun Hi finds out, she doesn’t see it that way; especially after finding out who it is on the other end of the contract.
Sun Hi’s parents had signed a contract with another couple their age, the Kim’s, stating that Sun Hi and Kim Jong In have to get married. Of course, Sun Hi strongly opposes the idea, but she feels she has no other option; her parents cared for her all of her life- wouldn’t the marriage and the money it brought be a good thing? Didn’t she have a duty to her parents to do this for them?
It wouldn’t have been such a problem if Sun Hi didn't despise the idea of her parents practically selling their only daughter off to a man she barely knew.
Although, that wasn’t half of the problem. Jong In was. CEO of a nationally known fashion company, his good looks and riches meant there was a trail of girls watching him every second of the day- but not Sun Hi. She’d seen past his charming façade the day she’d met him, and that meant she knew that he was far from being charming.
Arrogant, rude, and hostile- towards Sun Hi that is- Jong In is so blatantly against the arrangement that he’s willing to do anything to prevent it. With him thinking that Sun Hi arranged the whole thing to get a taste of his lavish life-style, he’s bent on making her life a living hell, and to some extent he succeeds, only making it more glaringly obvious how incompatible they are.
