The future of Aoihoshi turns bleak overnight as the shocking news from the Kingdom travels to the ears of the people, leaving them in a state of confusion. The assasination of the almighty King Akiyoshi Ryunosuke has caused a shock wave and politicians have forecasted a rewrite of history as the fate of the Kingdom remains uncertain. The struggles for power amongst the 2 legitimate sons, Kamiki Ryunosuke and Yuya Ryunosuke of the late King became more apparent, and there were speculations of a possible conspiracy that have led to the murder of the King. An independent investigation council was formed under the leadership of Kamiki Rynosuke, the eldest son, to investigate the death of his father. The investigations have crippled Yuya and his followers and soon, the initial power balance between the 2 brothers have shifted to the eldest. The court officials, with the influence of the Queen, support the crowning of Kamiki as the new King of Aoihoshi. Supporters of Yuya openly protested against the pending court decision, but were suprisingly prosecuted under various laws by the independent investigation council and some disappeared. With fear rampant among the land, the crowning was underway swiftly. 

In order for the succession, another family was naturalise into the picture, the Shida Manor who has served the generations of Kings in Aoihoshi as Head General of the Aoihoshi army. The youngest daughter of the family, Shida Mirai, was the childhood sweetheart of Kamiki Ryunosuke became the most likely candidate for Queen. However, things do not always go as plan. A sudden change of air puts the Kingdom and the Shida Manor in opposition, and the Shida Manor soon become trapped in a delicate situation that can cause the entire clan's extermination. The Okamoto Manor, the second in command, became the next potental family capable of offering a daughter's hand in marriage. 

The only thing standing in the way of the crowning of the throne, was just one secret that was swept under the carpet for 10 years... The secret involves a once pure, warming childhood memory and a banished royalty, and if ever it returns to light, it will jeopardise the status quo and tip the power standing. In a time of uncertainty that tears many families apart and kept many in fears and anxiety, Aoihoshi saw a group of highly skilled vigilantes whose identity remains unknown. Could this be related to the secret the Kingdom tried to hide.
