The Lost One's Weeping
Description
Sehun died and for a week, Jongin wished he could turn back time and prevent it from happening. When given the chance, he believes the best solution is sacrificing their relationship. After all, if something hadn't begun, how can it have an ending?
Foreword
That morning in particular, there was no Sehun, only his necklace and Jongin’s puffy eyes reflecting its color. It seemed the longest yet, a never-ending song replayed in his head, a soundtrack from a movie he cannot forget, lyrics that had been forever tuning in his ears. He pulled the jacket closer, taking in the remains of Sehun’s scent, taking in his cologne that Jongin often complained about. He had never liked it, never tolerated its strong fragrance, never liked the way it shrouded Sehun with a mystified image when he had known him well for three years now to be a complete moron. Even if Jongin had not paid attention to the smell in a while, accustomed to its ephemeral stroll around his nose, he took it in with every breath.
Inhale, exhale, he told himself. Inhale – one sniff, two sniffs, the cologne wrecked him – exhale.
