It’s Bil and Eonni, who seconds later turns up in the living room. Bil is leaving for his office. Woo Young and Se Young walk with them to the front porch.

jwy: are you working overtime hyung? 
bil: yes, I need to prepare a deposition.
eonni: yeobo, pick me and hayoung up tomorrow after you finish your work, okay?

Bil: ok. I’m going.. (kisses his wife on the forehead)

eonni: ok. Take care, yeobo.

jwy: (steals a glance at se young)

psy: (steals a glance at woo young)

Woo Young looks at his watch and immediately feels disappointed, it’s 11 pm already. He has fitting schedule in early morning, he should go home now. Before he has the chance to speak, Se Young’s parents comes up, back from her aunt’s house.

mom: what are you doing outside?

eonni: my husband just went to his office. Oh mom, I’ll be sleeping here with Hayoung.

psy: mom, how is aunt doing?

mom: oh, she’s fine. She still needs some rest so she can’t go to work yet.

dad: let’s go and talk inside, shall we?

jwy: hmm.. actually, I have to head back now, abeonim, eomeonim.

psy: you’re leaving already? (with a hint of disappointment in her tone)

jwy: I am sorry but I have fitting schedule early in the morning. I need to get some rest.

mom: that’s too bad, we brought tteokbokki that se young asked earlier.

eonni: mom, I think woo young is a little bit unwell. He was looking a bit pale when I got here.
dad: are you okay woo young-ah?

jwy: well..

psy: he’s just tired dad.
eonni: mom, dad, hayoung is looking for you. Let’s go inside before she sleeps. (gives a quick look of understanding to se young)

Eonni, mom and dad goes inside, leaving Woo Young and Se Young alone at the front porch. Woo Young parked his car right outside the front gate, they walk hand in hand under the not so starry sky of this summer night.

jwy: your hand is sweaty

psy: that’s why I told you I don’t really like holding hands

jwy: I like sweaty hands though (grinning like a fool) I’m so sorry but I have to get home, I don’t want to get caught by dispatch roaming around the street at midnight.

psy: are you sure you want to head back? you can sleep here if you want (omg, did I just ask him to sleep at my house?)

jwy: hah! You wish! (pushes se young’s head, not too hard though)

psy: you don’t want to? (what is wrong with me??)

jwy: why don’t you go and sleep at my place?
psy: yeah, and get caught by dispatch. The next morning you can see our picture pasted at the front page of gossip tabloids.

jwy: how long we’re going to keep this a secret?

psy: we’re not keeping it a secret. My family, your family and our closest friends knows.
jwy: what are you afraid of?
psy: I’m not afraid, but how about your fans? with 2PM’s upcoming comeback and my current drama, we don’t need the attention. Oh, and don’t forget that we still have WGM on our hands.

jwy: I want to show you off to the world.

psy: I know. Me too.

jwy: I care about my fans, but I care about you more.

psy: I’m just worried. You’re an idol, I know how important your fans are. 
jwy: yes, I realize that too. But if they really care about me, they will understand, right? I even protect their feelings by restraining myself to show-off about you. I really admire Khun-hyung for his boldness.

psy: hang in there for a while, okay? I’m sure we’ll find a way to survive. Have you talked to Jin Young sunbaenim about this?

jwy: he basically supported my decision, but he wanted me to wait for the right time.

psy: see,  I told you so. How about the other members?

jwy: of course they support us, even Chan (Chansung) is dating!

psy: really? Who’s the girl? Wait, don’t tell me, is it his couple from that chinese reality show?

jwy: no, it’s his friend from high school. She’s beautiful.

psy: wow, it must be nice for her to hear that from you.

jwy: I’m sensing a bit of jealousy in your voice

psy: yeah, I’m jealous. So what?

jwy: oh come on, you’re definitely prettier, (stops walking and looks at her from head to toe) and you have this glamorous body. You know why I asked you to change your clothes earlier, don’t you?

psy: ah, because you don’t want Bil to see me in hot pants?

jwy: not exactly..

psy: so?

jwy: I’m afraid I might do something... inapropriate (what did you just say jang woo young-ie?!)

  
Se Young doesn’t know how to react to this, she’s not used to hear someone complementing her body. If some random guy told her this, he might have earned a slap. But coming from this man, it somehow makes her all giddy inside.

psy: I’m gonna miss you a whole lot during the next three days

jwy: it’s not gonna be long, I’ll be home after the concert and fan meets.

psy: that’s too long (sighing)

jwy: actually, why don’t you come to Hong Kong and watch our concert? I can ask my manager to arrange it for you.

psy: when is the concert exactly?

jwy: it’s on the 30th

psy: I don’t think I can go, I still have scenes to film for my drama.
jwy: I knew it was a long shot, I really want you to see me while I’m working.
psy: I know, there will be other opportunities.
 

They finally reach the front gate. Woo Young turns to face Se Young and gives her a tight hug, even sticks his cheek to her’s. He throws a quick glance at Se Young’s lips, his mind travels back to moments before, when they were alone in the living room. He ends up staring at her face with a longing expression, feels the despair of being so close to kissing her but failed miserably. He can kiss her now, at the risk of someone inside the house peeking from the window. He decided to pull her for another tight hug instead.

jwy: don’t sleep yet okay, I’ll call you when I arrive at my apartment. (inhales and smelling the scent of her hair)

psy: hmmm.. (a thought crosses se young’s mind, but she hesitated)

jwy: I’ll drop by tomorrow if I have time (ugh, I don't want to let her go)

psy: hmmm.. (should I do it or not?)

jwy: go inside (finally releasing her from the hug)

psy: it’s okay, i’ll wait here until you go. (maybe I shouldn't)

jwy: I’m going..

psy: hmmm.. (maybe I should do it)

Woo Young opens the gate and walks toward his black sports car parked outside. Se Young is still standing at the threshold, hesitating. Woo Young gets into his car but immediately open his window after he closes the door.

jwy: yeobo-yaaa.. I love youuuuu!!

psy: I love you too!

While Woo Young is busy putting his seat belt on, Se Young runs toward the car, open the passenger door and jumps in.

jwy: what are you doing? Finally decided to stay at my place tonight?

Before he gets the chance to utter another word, Park Se Young leans in and plants a kiss on Jang Woo Young’s lips. Actually, it’s more of a peck than a kiss. This all happens in a split second, his mind went blank and he stares at her in amazement. She doesn’t know what to do next and suddenly felt embarassed. She quickly grabs the door handle, wanting to run back to the house. Woo Young moves real fast and gets hold of her hand, with a little unintentional force.

jwy: oh no park se young-ie, you’re not getting away this time.
