A loud noise suddenly comes from the direction of the front door. The sound of a little girl calling her grandma ever so loudly, it’s Hayoung (HY). Her little steps makes quite a ruckus, ruining the lovely atmosphere that transpires earlier in the living room. Se Young stands up abruptly and tidies up her hair. Woo Young feels a surging feel of despair, like he’s being thrown in to the edge of a deep abyss. He clenched his hands and let out a sigh.
 

jwy: heol! 
psy: OMG! That’s my niece, Hayoung. I’m sorry woo young-ah.
jwy: hmm.. (tries to put on a relaxed expression but not sure if it’s working) 
psy: I’m gonna go and welcome them, you stay here.
jwy: (once again slumping on the couch in total defeat)
psy: Hayoung-aaah.. (wonders if she sounded too cheerful)
 

Se Young greets her cute niece with a hug. Hayoung is holding a cotton candy, Se young can see traces of it on Hayoung’s lips. Hayoung is staring at Se Young with her wide eyes. Se Young leads her niece into the living room to meet Woo Young.

psy: hayoung-ah, do you still remember him? He’s the one calling you a few weeks before. 

Hayoung is a bit shy, but somehow musters up her courage to greet Woo Young.

hy: annyeonghaseyo uncle woo young..

Woo young, who’s still in a daze from the previous near excitement, adjusts his sitting position on the couch. 

jwy: hi, pretty girl, how are you doing? (smiles awkwardly)  

 

Not long after, Se Young’s sister (let’s call her eonni) and her husband (let’s call him brother-in-law/bil) turns up in the living room. 

psy: eonni.. bil.. why didn’t you tell me that you’re coming? (trying hard to put away the incident from moments before by looking as composed as she can be)

eonni: se young-ah.. oh, woo young is here? I texted mom half an hour ago, letting her know that I was coming, but she didn’t mention that woo young is here. Woo young-ah, how are you doing? Are you okay? You looked.. a bit pale. Are you sick?

jwy: hi noona.. (stands up from the couch and bows to greet se young’s sister) I’m fine, thank you. How are you?
psy: I guess he’s feeling a little unwell. He’s busy with the upcoming 2PM comeback. (automatically tells a lie to save woo young’s face)

bil: woo young-ah, you shouldn’t be working too hard. Oh, I’m sorry, can I call you woo young-ah? I’m her husband (pointing at se young’s sister)
jwy: It’s okay, it’s a pleasure to meet you bil. How are you doing?

eonni: you can lay down on the sofa if you feel unwell woo young-ah, don’t mind us. Se young-ah, is this your day off? Woo young too? What a lovely coincidence.

psy: we filmed WGM this morning, but we have no schedule for the rest of the day. Eonni, you know how difficult it is to see an Idol even on his free time.

bil: where are abeonim and eomeonim?

psy: ah, they went to visit mom’s cousin in Ilsan, mom brought some herbal medicine too.
eonni: it’s already late though, are they spending the night there?

psy: mom didn’t say anything about spending the night there, but dad said that they’re going to be home late.
bil: did you two spend almost 24hours filming like last time?

jwy: there’s nothing we can do, you know how busy se young is with her current drama.
eonni: woo young-ah, you looked quite unwell. Seriously, just lay down on the sofa.
 

Woo Young feels uneasy, and guilty too, for the genuine concern over his health showed by Se Young’s sister. When in reality he’s in a healthy state, at least physically, his mind is in a mess.

While eonni and Bil is busy wiping off sticky substances on Hayoung’s mouth, Woo Young inches closer to Se Young and whispers in a more serious tone. 

jwy: yeobo.. yeobo yaaa..

psy: what is it?
jwy: I think you should change your clothes

psy: why? Are we going somewhere?

jwy: hmmm.. I don’t think it’s appropriate to wear this kind of outfit when your brother-in-law is here. (shoots a quick look on se young’s lower body part) your pants are too short! Go change! Now!

psy: you seriously want me to change my clothes? (looking at woo young in disbelief)

jwy: yeobo-ya, I know that he’s your brother-in law, but he’s a man just like me. Go change while I say it nicely.

psy: okay.. okay.. I’ll go 
 

Se Young stops midway to talk to Hayoung

psy: hayoung-ah, next time when you buy cotton candy, buy one for me too, okay?

jwy: (blurts out uncontrollably) yeobo.. yeobo..

bil: (talking to his wife) yeobo, I suddenly feel that we’re like an old married couple, look at them being lovey dovey with each other.

eonni: I’m used to them being like this, they’re not only being lovey dovey on camera, but also off-camera.
 

Woo Young can’t hide his embarassment, he did not just call Se Young “yeobo” in front of eonni and bil, did he? But what’s bothering him more is the fact that Se Young is still there, busy talking with Hayoung, still in her hot pants.

jwy: se young-ah, can I borrow your phone charger?

psy: (looks away from Hayoung) phone charger? But we use different brand

jwy: it’s ok, I think it will work anyway.

Se Young walks to her room with a confused look, clearly have no idea what’s going on in Woo Young’s mind. Woo Young tries his best to interact with eonni and bil, also with Hayoung. Hayoung who is shy, surprisingly get close to Woo Young quite fast. She’s a girl after all.

 
eonni: woo young-ah, you haven’t met my other sister, Mi Young, have you?

jwy: oh, not yet, haven’t got the chance. But Se young talked about her sometimes, and showed me some pictures.

eonni: She’s currently continuing her studies in Japan, it’s the right opportunity considering her position in her current job. She’s coming home next month, you should meet her if you have time.

jwy: hopefully I have some free time next month

bil: yeobo, Mi Young-ssi is a fan of nickhun, isn’t she?

jwy: aaaahh.. khun hyung?    
 

The conversation flows naturally between Woo Young, Bil and Eonni. Woo Young realizes that he felt lonely sometimes, being away from his family. That’s why he always enjoy the warm feeling he get from Se Young’s family.

The clock strikes ten when Se Young finally comes out from her room, wearing the blue couple pajamas she and Woo Young used on WGM. Woo Young is busy playing with Hayoung in the living room. Se Young walks in and sits on the couch, Woo Young follows.

jwy: what took you so long? I thought you were only going to get me the phone charger.

psy: oh, I took a shower. It’s going to look weird if I go to my room to get you the phone charger but I changed my pants, isn’t it?

jwy: hmm.. as usual, park se young-ie is quick at thinking.

Woo young steals a glance at Hayoung who is sitting on the floor busy playing with her toys. He inches closer to Se Young and whispers, afraid that Hayoung will hear. 

jwy: yeobo-ya, you smell so good.

psy: I told you I took a shower, didn’t I?
jwy: are doing this purposefully? To torture me?

psy: I have no idea what you mean

jwy: (pushes se young’s head)
hy: uncle woo young, when are you going to take me to the amusement park? (shouts to her mom who is in the dining room with her dad) mom, can I go to the amusement park with uncle woo young?

Eonni walks into the living room with Bil.

eonni: you can go when your school is off Hayoung-ah, around next month.

hy: yaaaayyy.. uncle woo young, we’ll go together okay? You also promised to buy me delicious food. (climbs on to woo young’s lap)

eonni: don’t spoil her woo young-ah
bil: yeobo, you know how Hayoung is, she likes her uncle woo young so much. 

jwy: okay, we’ll go next month, together with aunty se young. We’re going to play at the amusement park and then I’m going to treat you ice cream. 
hy: do we have to bring aunty?

jwy: eeehh? You don’t want to? It’s just the two of us then.

psy: (grabs woo young’s arm, suddenly getting competitive with her niece) I’m going too, don’t leave me!

jwy: hayoung-ah, we have to go with your aunty se young, we need her card to get that 40% discount for the entrance fee.

psy: (pouting like a kid)

jwy: aigoo.. (pinches se young’s cheek)

 
eonni: Hayoung-ah, let’s change your clothes. Se young-ah, I’m spending the night here with Hayoung, your brother-in-law has something to work on in his office tonight. 

Eonni, Bil and Hayoung goes to the room upstairs,  the room eonnie used before she was married. Woo Young and Se Young resume their conversation while sitting on the couch in the living room.

psy: yeobo, what’s your schedule for tomorrow?
jwy: I have to do clothes fitting for the one mic concert in Hong Kong. Do you want to come?

psy: what am I going to do there? You’re gonna be busy with your assistants and the other members.

jwy: we can go somewhere after I finished with the fitting
psy: even if I want to I can’t, I have a filming schedule tomorrow.

jwy: with lee sang woo-ssi?

psy: you know that other people also play in that drama, don’t you? It’s not just me and lee sang woo sunbaenim.

jwy: can you tell me what scene you will be filming tomorrow?

psy: I can’t. Just go and watch it on tv

jwy: why??? (whines like a baby and turns on his phone). See, you never notify me in advance!! (opens their kakao page and shows it to se young)

psy: I thought your phone is running out of battery (remembers that woo young asked to borrow her phone charger)

jwy: I never said that

psy: what did you borrow my phone charger for?

jwy: it was just an excuse, I asked you to change your clothes but you lingered around and talked to Hayoung.

psy: aigoo..

Their conversation comes to a halt when they hear footsteps on the stairwell.
