"Do you believe in magic?

He retorted while using the pad of his thumb to wipe away my streaming tears.   

I was only 7 at that time. He was a few year's older then me.

 "No" 

I halfheartedly shot back, eyelids hazing as I fixed my gaze upon a nearby object.

"You don't? Then that's too bad, Oppa wanted to show you a magic trick!"

He said as his couplets overturned into a simple beam, the contour of his eyes taking the shape of what we call upside down crescents. 

"A trick? Oppa will show me a trick!"

My upper lip lfited as my lower set escalated, displaying a row of pearly ivories.

"Yes. But it will wait. When you grow more older, and when the time comes! Oppa will show you the trick"

He hummed underneath his breath before using his index finger to triumphantly prod at his upper torso.

"Alright! I'll will definitely await that day!"

I uttered almost vibrantly, orbs glazed with mere amusement. 

"Then promise me one thing? Promise me you'll remember me when you go to Seoul."

His beaming grin soon faded away, exhibiting a sorrowful yet lighthearted frown.

"I can't, and I won't forget you"

"Are you sure?"

he escalated a slender brow in question, head craning to the side in curiosity.

"Let's pinky promise then!" 

He once again retorted, holding out the smallest digit upn his duke.

"Alright"

"Pinky promise"

I said locking my own digit around his.

"Pinky promise"
