STORY SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION
Elise is human,her soul born of angel-fire,the glowing remnants of an angel who has spent her entire lifespan of a thousand years in the universe.Luhan is an angel who lost his companion 18 years ago. Nothing escapes his eyes,for he was blessed with the Gift of Memory and exceptional observance.Angels appear as shooting stars as they travel at high speeds, but even then, Luhan is able to see all that happens within his line of sight and remember it.
Luhan trembled, stopping in his line of flight.His wings beat, as fast as his pounding heartbeat,as his eyes widened in shock.Hadn't she ceased to exist 18 years ago?His partner,the beautiful Cassiopeia,stood in a garden,dressed in human's garb.But what made his fist clenched was the fact that her exquisite white feather wings were cut off.She faced him, lips parted and tears sparkling in her eyes, uttering "Save me".She sounded exactly the way Cassiopeia did.Only her voice was so filled with traces of desperation while his angel's was overflowing with joy.
Elise has cancer.Or leukemia,to be precise.She was diagnosed since 4,battling the disease for 14 years.People see her as a miracle,a symbol of hope for patients.But they expect her to die soon,anyway.She knows that she ought to feel blessed,but she feels that she is not living the life of a person.She is in a corner of the hospital's garden,a route that not many tread through.It feels as though this is her private space,a little secret that is satisfying to keep to herself.A shooting star crosses through the sky.Elise knows that it is silly to do so, but she clasps her hands together and makes a single wish. ❝ SUPPORT US ❞ Don't forget to use the banner and link back to this contest!
