Chapter 4 - No More Task
My Mean BossAuthor's Note
Next chapter is the last one. Sad to see it come to an end... Enjoy
This was weird. Not only did he order a lot of foods, he was feeding them to me. 'Here, try this' or 'this is really good, have a bite.' It's like he's another person. Is he bipolar? I should ask Luhan later. Getting back to him, one minute he's mean the next minute he's nice. Make up your mind. It's confusing. "Do you like it there," he ask me as he was driving back to his place.
"It's pretty nice. The foods are good," I told him which was true. It was the best food I ever ate.
"That's good. We should come back again then," he said, parking the car in front of his house. I'm so confuse at this situation right. What is he up to? I need to know his game plan.
"Okay, what's the deal?"
"What are you talking about," he ask.
"A hour ago, you was this mean jer... guy. Now you're acting too nice. It's strange."
"I told you before. I can do want I want." Here we go again. "Beside, can't I treat you out for all your hard work?" At least he recognize it but that's not the point.
"Yeah, but... okay. Why do you keep on kissing me," I ask, getting straight to the point. "Do you... do you like me?" I stare at him, waiting for an answer and I could tell he was thinking hard too. Does that mean he likes me? I guess not considering the answer that just came out of his mouth.
"It not the matter of me liking you or not. I need to practice my kissing and you being my employee give me the opportunity to do so." I'm just an employee to him. Why does it hurt when he said that? It just felt like my heart just drop. Was I hoping he would say yes? I guess I did because I felt like crying.
"Oh... okay then. I guess I'll be going then. Thank you for the meal," I said, getting out of his car and rushing to my car. As soon as I drove off, I just let the tears run. I can't stop it. It hurt so bad but why? I known this guy for only four days. Did my feeling grew that big for him? I don't know but I do know I have to face him tomorrow. I need to put my feeling away and act professional. He's my boss and I'm his employee. Star
