Description

The emblem of the king, the sign of ultimate powers and the piece that keeps the peace between the Humans and the Dragons in Norgad is one single stone - The Black Pearl. Jisu, a girl who grew up in the slums of Vandigo - Norgad's capital - sells herself to the king's personal artist who is famous for his paintings and sculptures. He is a man who lives and breaths for art, and a man with more secrets than anyone could imagine. He pulls Jisu into his world - the world of the rich, the beautiful and the powerful, a world, where everyone can get crushed easily.

Why I like it: this author is so creative her stories are amazing just like this one. I have never seen such a detailed story before. The paintings are so well described, the plot is perfect, it's truly the type of story I would read.
